szkocjasid Posted yesterday at 09:18 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:18 PM I don't think Kildemand is a bad signing on a 6.00 average, he could reach that. But I thought he was an awesome signing at first when I was led to believe it was 4.0/4.5. I certainly don't understand why they would drop Harris for Kildemand though. I guess we'll never know if they had other answers that fell through & Kildemand was a back up option (something Harris wouldn't agree to be). Don't think Harris was ever in the team (think Harris/Boughen/Glasgow)

GiveusaB
This time last season everyone at Oxford filled with optimism....stadium/support/money etc etc etc.... This season...looking sh#te....someone needs to take a closer look at the Team manager!?
SandyLaner
Easy to say but I’d much rather one competitive side than two non-competitive sides, which is exactly what the Spires and Cheetahs look like this year with Scotty knackered. Chargers on Sundays it is!
Manifesto
Is the Oxford team that bad? It’s a similar match up to Kings Lynns in my opinion. Everyone fancying them for play offs although I can’t see anybody matching up to Ipswich, Sheffield and Bv. The last rider needs to be a solid rider who can hit their average home and away and they should be competitive

There was considerable doubt about the wisdom of running three teams this time last year. However I am disappointed that with more time to plan there is not greater commonality between the teams. As for the team manager sometimes a discrete silence is the best response.

Been on the back foot team building wise since then. I agree - an opportunity missed

If you swap the no.1 and 2's for both sides....then Stars would have 6 ticks! Edited 10 hours ago by GiveusaB

Wasn't the multiplier going to increase by 0.1 every season until it reached 2 so that doubling up would be reduced 🤣

My long campaign to persuade a member of the SCB that linear regression should be used never really gained much momentum. 🫢
Danny Connor
I don't think Oxford look terrible at all. Outside of Ipswich and Sheffield there's not much in it.

They have 7.4 left for last rider so Riss will probably be at reserve although you would fancy Harris in a match up against anyone while he stays at reserve.
