It hasn't been for assessed averages for some years. Totally illogical, but hey what do you expect from 'the wise ones'

It would've helped if they let us know in the AGM press release. Berwick's rider profile page does have Kildemand down as 8.50 though so perhaps the conversion rate is now 1.4 and the higher ups have just rounded the assessed Kildemand figure up to 8.50 instead of 8.40. LagutaRacingFan
So how much do Oxford have left for the last rider? Leon Madsen's last average in Britain was 6.10, so he could still fit? [There is really no other conclusion that can be drawn from Berwick's statement that he comes in at no 1.] However that is not consistent with the categorisation in the table in 10.2.2 of the regs. The implication is that the wording for 2025 has been amended. Most likely from 'last season' to 'any of last three seasons'. So Kildemand now comes in on 6 which means all the talk of Dudek, Madsen etc is now out the window. which explains why they are ringing lyager, stevie worrall, rene bach as the last rider
TTT
Oxford have learnt a lesson this winter, Don't go chasing a pipe dream that's very unlikely to become a reality (Bewley) Utter madness and now they've left themselves well short in 2025 to a point where they're relying on the old Kildemand to turn up, Relying on Tungate to become an established No.1 over a full season in a stronger 2025 Premiership as well as relying on a rider from Europe to fill the last spot otherwise they're well under the limit with a British based rider like Steve Worrall, Justin Sedgmen, Lewis Kerr etc.

What a cock up!
PTW
I’m guessing Lyager would come in on a similar average to kildemand if so then 1.40 under the limit is huge
Falcon1983
Its not always about building to the limit though, more about getting the riders that you want in your 1-

Speedball
Think Oxford got stitched when Musielak got tempted by Birmingham. Been on the back foot team building wise since then.
LagutaRacingFan
Kenneth Bjerre Michael Jepsen Jensen Alexander Loktaev Janusz Kolodziej Rasmus Jensen One of the above would make Oxford a competitive side.
