You better ask @Phil The Ace that. He started the rumours back in September. In other words - no - they're not the same. I've always thought Phil was on the money, so had no reason to doubt him. But not everybody gets things right all the time, and things also change. What's your point exactly? Not saying he would average 10, but I’m sure he would develop into a good heat leader if given a full season. Anyway, he’d certainly be a better option than no decent heat leader, which looking the most likely now. He had a full season in 2024 and was decidedly average. It was in 2023, not 2024, and he averaged 8.21 across both spells at King's Lynn and Peterborough. Just 0.11 behind Dan Bewley's 2023 average. Now while it's not what you'd probably expect from a former world champion, it's a bit better than 'decidedly average' in my opinion. It's also a higher average than any Oxford Spires rider managed last year, so he wouldn't be a bad signing. Col
If Janowski can hit the ground running next season he'll be top 5 in the averages. Are Spires going to start with Tungate &: Janowski as their spearhead? If so a solid 1-6 can be forged with points aplenty available. SandyLaner
Will he return on his 6.57 average from his last stint at Poole? Either way, looks like Rohan and Magic are our 1 & 5 edit: reading it should be a 4.5 - so now we wait to see what we can do with the 9 or so points remaining Edited December 6 by SandyLaner

TTT
Oxford need the old Peter Kildemand in 2025 because the side isn't looking that good on paper when you compare it with other teams 1-7's.

MP78
Have they managed to get it reassessed to 5, so they can then bring in a number one on an 8?

Read arnieg post, hopefully he's correct and average reassessed. What average did he sign on for KL in the year he pulled out injured ? They will surely leave the biggest signing to last, no? Will be such an anti-climax otherwise. Kildemand on a 5, and Madsen on an 8. Job done. TTT
Kildemand wouldn't be a 5.00 because he's not a newcomer unlike Lampart last year who was handed a 5.00 For what it's worth returning riders to British Speedway last year like Pawlicki and Milik were given 7.50's. I'd expect Kildemand to be given a minimum of 6.00. Edited December 6 by TTT
