Louis found out how high his demands were last summer.

Yeah, last summer, demands will be higher when the bidder is more desperate

Now its the winter and Dudeks demands are considerably lower now  but, still on the high side for UK speedway but other riders are here on similar money

This would be way under the points limit so something's not right.

2. Riss

3. Janowski

4. Wright

5. Tungate

6. Gilkes

7. Killeen (RS)

If it was any other team I'd agree with you, but last year Oxford kept weakening the team, maybe they've just started earlier this year?

Only goes down by 2.5% British reduction, the 25% is if you are no longer eligible for RS berth

You get the 25% off if you just come out of being a R/S.Like Jenkins last season,he got 25% of the season just gone and now he is a R/S again.

Yes, so if a team wants him now he'll have to go in as a number 6 and leave the RS scheme and trigger the 25% reduction.

No, because he’s still on the rising star list as he meets the qualifying criteria. Whether a club uses him in any position from 1-6 is irrelevant. You only get a 25% reduction when you first exit the rising star scheme due to no longer meeting the qualifying criteria. Dan Gilkes will get the standard 2.5% British reduction, not 25%.

Potential to be a solid side. I wouldn't bother with Gilkes personally.  I reckon there struggling to get a number 1 in so you have to go down the kings lynn route of strength n depth. Dropping Gilkes leaves loads of points for two assessed riders from abroad pushing Riss to reserve. I can't think of any riders though unfortunately.  Birmingham have snapped up most of them

As I've said already, if we can't get a genuine number 1, we will be struggling to be competitive. I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised when they sign/are announced :)

Don't leave it too long thou, season tickets will be going on sale shortly no doubt.

Is Martin Vaculik signed up anywhere other than Gorzow next season? Looks like he might have some spare time!

You've already got a clear number one. Name is Janowski. Just needs to perform like one on a regular basis. Leave a bit of scope for making strengthening change/s if he isn't hacking it by end of May
