TTT
Oxford won't go with a 3.00 pointer at reserve imo, They would've signed Jenkins or Boughen up as the No.6 if they were going down that route. Surely got to be the 1-5??? 1. Musielak 2. Riss 3. Janowski 4. Wright 5. Tungate

What I'm trying to say, If Oxford were going top heavy in 2025 then both reserves would've been Cheetahs riders for sure (Killeen + Boughen/Jenkins) in order to get some continuity going and one of Boughen/Jenkins would've opted out of the RS scheme if they had a guaranteed deal to be the No.6 for the Spires because the rider in question wouldn't be missing out on a team place by opting out of the RS scheme. That's why I don't believe Oxford are going top heavy.

Steve Irving
Very surprised to see Tungate gain an average as high as he has. He’s done better than most thought. Is it a tad expensive now though? He’s not #1 material for me.

Bojangles
Sam Masters was very coy when Richard Palmer 'accidentally' asked him if he was coming to the Spires in 2025 at the end of season bash. Didn't really know what to say, just said he "loved Oxford" and quickly backed away from the mic.

It would certainly make sense for riders to double up with the Cheetahs & Spires

IainB
Bomber not returning to the Spires in 2025 "Speedway is a funny old sport at times, I urge fans of any rider or any club to not look through rose tinted glasses especially this time of year, there is always more to a story, I can confirm my story is going to be a good one one day, but only when I hang up my boots - which won’t be any time soon." Not sure what he means by that... it's all a bit Eric Cantona 🛥🐦

Arrrgh me hearties, there be a good tale or two to be told of smuggling and other deeds that must be kept secret until the time old Bomber's palm be crossed with enough silver, arrrgh.

Col
Thought Woffinden was Oxford bound? With Janowski & Tungate, it's a good top 3 who are not on ridiculous averages.

Oxford already have Janowski in the ranks, Birmingham are far more desperate for top end reinforcements. Obviously the money has to be acceptable to the rider, that goes without saying. If money is tight which seems likely, then that’s going to be an ongoing issue for them.

Depends on who Oxford can get as a No.1, They'll get Musielak if they cant get a GP/Ekstraliga rider at No.1 imo. Unfortunately I fear the worst for Brum as I don't see anyone chosing them over another club if a rider in question has multiple offers on the table, Birmingham could go bust at any stage and they could fall behind in rider payments if things turn sour. Col
13 hours ago, Steve Irving said: Hopefully Musielak rides here After his sour experience at Kings Lynn last year - don't know what went wrong - he'd always been reliable for Wolves, Robins & Tigers. I do wonder if we'll see him in our league again. Hopefully so. I was hoping he'd be at Perry Barr as Oxford have Janowski & Tungate at least. Brummies seem to be losing Brennan.
