That should silence the doubters because when the going gets tough Bartosz comes up with the goods when it matters. Great Champion.

It didn't matter, he was already world champ.

But he showed his class & ability to win the meeting after a slow start.

lets not have a go at our own though, hes been very good this year

sometimes i think familiarity can breed contempt on your own track if it's not the same as usual

and im not sure tonights result has too much bearing on next season really or anyones mindset tbh

I’m not having a go at lambert, he has had a great season but the only way someone is going to dethrone zmarzlik is to get in his head and lambert had that chance tonight

Carl Fogarty only rode over here once a season....

He still made WSB a hugely watched satellite TV production, and moved his own personal fame well into the wider mainstream media..

But surely people would want to watch Robert race on tv like they did Foggy and that wouldn't be British league racing?  Bewley on the other hand ....... it's all about the money to do it with too?

If Discovery+ can't get any reports about the SGP into our msm I dunno who can?

You've missed out Kvech's score, and everything else needs to move down one in the GP pts column.

Thanks! I think it shows that there's no real difference in scoring systems, it's just that one is a hell of a lot easier to work out come crunch time than the other. And Zmarzlik's season was nowhere near as bad as some were making it out to be... he had one duffer

While Kelvin and Chris have this big discussion on gate picks.Bartosz has won his last 2 Gps without a gate pick in Semi’s or Final. Is it so important.

i don't think it is, lambert & bewley have recieved criticism for recent picks but for me you just need to make a good start whatever gate you are on, easy to blame the helmet colour rather than the rider

There's many factors to take into consideration though, not least the track, there was a hell of an outside line there last night for those that there brave enough to use it... but when you're at Cardiff, Riga, Prague or Vojens the gate pick will be far more important

This goes back to what I was saying on a previous post, that when you pick a gate you automatically think have I made the right choice but when you’re left with last choice and no choice that slight doubt isn’t there, speedway is a massive psychological sport, these things matter, in the final last night Dan picks gate one despite his wins were using the dirt on the fence, so why not pick gate 3or 4 ? Because he knows unless he makes a decent start he will get blocked and so picks 1 but then thinks Freddie has also been flying off 4 so he automatically has a contrasting thought

Just a reminder that Zmarzlik is 2nd in the Polish league averages.

The idea he is the best rider in the world is laughable.

The best rider in the world doesn't ride in the GPs.

Maybe if Putin stopped trying to take over europe then maybe will be back in SGP

Again Bartoz edging ahead of other riders before the start of the final in the pits, all little things to get the edge.

I thought the Dan exclusion was 50/50 , it looked different depending on what camera angle was shown but im sure the ref looked at every angle available to him.

Good GP , plenty of passing and two British lads in the top four in the world.

absolutely agree but they are the guys who have been riding the track and using the gates so their choices are based on what theyve done that night, there will always be a reason

if they make a crap start people seem to automatically blame the pick rather than a poor reaction etc
