Look at Poland, they look after their own & dominate world speedway (except the SON).

Just checked and on the declarations page he's classed as a 4 but on the stats section says his green sheet is 3.88.

Who knows what he would actually come in on, presumably they could be trying to argue for the latter to fit him in. 

 

I wouldn't go by to the stats section, as it says "these are not official averages" for example it has Hodder on 1.52, but he rides on the minimum 2.00. Ivacic should be 4.00 unless the rules have changed.

If the rules have changed & foreigners can drop below 4, then I think he's the best option suggested yet.

Not unusually there’s nothing concrete in the SCB regs for the exact scenario but this is mentioned as part of another blurb 

‘Any rider not eligible for the British Development Leagues, with an

established average, cannot drop below 3.00 in the Premiership or

Championship Leagues at any time during the season.’

However I can’t find any mention of if this is being retroactively applied to the end of last season averages

I have not seen that anywhere either so it is his head unless proven otherwise, do not see any reason why they would drop it.

I have seen that on there, but who knows what they would actually use these days. 

@gmuncie suggested there isn't a specific call out for it and, all in the interest's of the sport and all that. 

It would make sense if they are trying to use up their points that they'd be trying to argue an average. Otherwise surely Trigger would have been in a long time ago.

Yet he's brilliant on the continent. I've never understood why some riders come to this country and struggle so much, is it really all down to the tracks or something else? Surely we have similar size and shape tracks as Sweden and Denmark do we not?

The reason I always see mentioned is track material, not sure if that's a main factor or not though

What's the difference? Genuinely curious. Are the tracks in this country heavier than say Denmark and Sweden. I've watched a lot of speedway in Poland and the material does seem quite fine is probably the best way to describe it. But I'd have thought Denmark and Sweden had similarly heavy tracks compared to us?
