Apparently so, until the club announce who it is. It's got to be a returnee to the sport, with what points are available and the 'better option' label. No one who's raced recently makes sense with that label.

Both if remotely back to their best would be experienced riders who on average form would be very good reserves and could hold their own in the second string department at a push

Has James Sargent still got any equipment after he announced he was retiring some time back?  I know he sold some of his stuff to Jake Turner, the New Zealander.

Perhaps they have a Dayle Wood type 2 point Aussie/Kiwi lined up that they are confirming the average for?

Not close enough to know if there are any these days that would qualify but there's usually one. Has Ben Whalley got a British granny?
