I'm not so sure Klindt would be a good signing, feel sure he'd drop his average, plus doesn't leave a lot for a second reserve, Adam Roynon?

I'd suggest MPT & a 6.00 rider would be the better option. Means Cluff starting at reserve (with Fredriksen).

Agree, personally I think Klindt would be a poor signing on that type of average and would mean Barker would yet again be 2nd heat leader when he's actually more like 2nd string level.

We'll find out tomorrow according to Facebook.

So Plymouth Facebook page is stating a shock signing that’s got to be Zagar surely wouldn’t class Klindt as a shock no disrespect.

"With me and Barker at 1 and 5, nobody will get past us in heats 13 and 15 at the Coliseum", reports the Plymouth Herald.đŸ¤£

I’ll be delighted if Plymouth have managed to find a genuine number 1 as there didn’t appear to be many options out there and it’ll be good for them and the league if they are competitive, we’ve lost way too many teams in the South in recent years and they do a great job to keep things running down there and always give a warm welcome.

I’ll be surprised if it’s Zagar but he does have good links down there from his days riding for Trelawny, incidentally if it is Zagar then it would leave exactly 3.00 left and they could then sign Trigger.

Honestly think this looks a wooden spoon team.

Matej Zagar 10.80
Ben Barker 5.83
Joe Thompson 5.63
Alfie Bowtell 5.07
Mitchell Cluff 5.00
Lasse Fredriksen 4.67
Ben Trigger 3.00
Total 40.00

Barker as second heat leader & Joe T jumping from reserve to third heat leader is a big ask.

Granted they could have the strongest reserve in the league. Maybe be ok at home if Cluff & Fredriksen can get dialled in quickly, but could see big away defeats coming.

I tend to agree. It would need huge improvements from the middle order, that based on previous seasons would be highly unlikely but you never know. Lets see who it is...

No doubt Zagar would be a class act still at this level and be a near 10 pointer. Would make sense with him debuting in the UK with Trelawny and riding under Mark Phillips there. Plus a lot of ex Trelawny fans I believe now follow Plymouth.

how many meetings he would miss however would be interesting, I remember he hated travelling north when with Reading last time in the Premier league. I just had a look and it was 2005 he last raced in this league - 20 years ago!! Crazy how time flys.
