Would Mitchell be on a 5.00 average? Don't know anything about the lad but fingers crossed it works out. Welcome to the Gladiators

Probably won’t average that be at reserve once he gets an official average. Not the best behaved or well liked Aussie on the circuit but maybe he’s decided to screw the head a bit.

With Bowtell at 5.07, could be a good battle for that reserve spot IF Cluff is a 5.0 or higher rider

He will be a 5 pointer and is James Pearson best mate so maybe both might come as a package

Kinda hope this isn't the team, does not look good.

Ben Barker 5.87

Joe Thompson 5.63

James Pearson 5.51

Alfie Bowtell 5.07

Mitchell Cluff 5.00

Pearson has turned down a few CL Clubs insistent he's riding in Poland where he'll live.

A bottom 4 of Fredriksen, Cluff, Bowtell and Thompson ensures they always have 2 strong reserves and decent heat 8 and 14. A solid top 4 compared with several - always top end problems though?

I think Barker will be 3rd highest average , he's capable of getting back up to 6.5 you'd think. Problem for him and Bowtell is lack of regular rides.

Would one of Bowtell or Thompson slot in to their NDL Team just to get extra track time? Might be a canny move.

If MPT is going there allows one other Heat Leader to join him and Barker.

Might suit a PL second string whose average fits who is not in Polish U24 (if they ride some home meetings on a Tuesday) or Polish 3rd Div - Saturday nights and no decent flight link to POland without a very long drive (Bristol / Birmingham Airports?)

Keep reading Covatti is still crocked, a shame as MPT / Covatti / Barker and that bottom 4 would surprise more than a few outside of Poole / Glasgow.

?

Ben Barker 5.87 (Presumably)

Joe Thompson 5.63

?

Alfie Bowtell 5.07

Mitchell Cluff 5.00

Lasse Fredriksen 4.67

Total 26.24

Remaining: 13.76

Not too bad a position for the Gladiators promotion to be in IF they can find the right number one but those are in short supply. Likely they'll need to be looking overseas you'd imagine? There's scope for improvement on Barker and Fredriksen's averages for sure. Bowtell should be able to improve somewhat but even if there's a slow start for him, he drops to reserve and he'll be strong there. Thompson is the enigma, can he improve his 5.63? He's young so he's only going to get better and goes well at Home. Cluff, only time will tell but having watched some of the clips from the SA solo finals, he can gate!

1) I knew Pearson didn't want to ride for a weekend track, wasn't sure if he'd want to join a mid-week track though.

2) Joe T can double up in the NDT team, but Bowtell can't.

3) Given that that team comes to 41.86, I would expect it to surprise a few lol!

Does Plymouth not ride Saturdays now or have they went back to Tuesday?

Joe T should be no where near the NDL now.

I agree, was just replying to wether Bowtell / Joe could race NDT.

However Joe may do it, if Plymouth needs a heat leader & to get some "paid practice" to help his Championship form?
