Great evening as already said, Anders was on our table and was great to hear how he is already prepared for 2025 and riding for Poole. Confident he will be end the season as our second HL.

I'm sure some exciting news will be coming in the next couple of weeks with the final 2 signings.

Not Starke then. It would be no surprise for him to be our second heat leader because Lewis Kerr will drop his average.

Rowe’s a decent signing for Poole.

If you look at his numbers, he did very well for us last season. He definitely found it easier riding at three than five, but his input in the latter parts of the meeting were an improvement on Worrall, I felt.

Depending on what Ford and Middleditch spend the remaining points on, you’re guaranteed a play-off spot with this side.

Which Lewis Kerr turns up will be a huge factor, in my opinion.

Kerr could keep his average & Rowe end up as second heat leader. I rate him highly, he's only on a 6.1 average as he's mainly carrying his scores from 2023.

Well I know nothing about him, but from the still photos he looks to have a riding style similar to Ben Cook, low down below the handle bars, great to watch and can be very effective. On the down side also pics of him giving the air fence a hard time.

Can't be West.

he's been riding POL U24 for last couple of seasons. Would be a 5 so too high.

Additionally he hasn't impressed looking at his POL stats for the last 2 seasons.

Found this comment from Ford interview yesterday on the last 2 signings.

And we’re just putting this final piece of the puzzle together now.

“We should have the full team confirmed this side of Christmas.”

If it was Starke you would have thought that deal was done before last season end. Or could it be still trying to tie up deal for the temporary 2 pointer ??

Either that or trying to work around Cairns no doubt busy overseas schedule for 2025 bearing in mind already signed up for POL U24 lge (Tuesdays) and his no doubt busy individual European tournaments riding in U21 events. Plus maybe spending more time in Sweden being mentored by Greg Hancock again like last season.

If Kerr can stay injury free, in the Poole 'environment ' he will at least keep his average.

Kerr has been a solid rider for many years. Too many injuries has held him back but I don’t expect for a second for his average to drop.

Rowes a quality signing, possibly the best bargain average signing in the league.

If Poole do go safe with Starke and a 2 pointer it’ll still be the strongest 1-7 out of the teams announced so far. And if you add Cairns in to it, I can’t see anyone getting near them in the playoffs

The Poole No.7 is signing knowing full well, from the beginning, that he's only there until the end of June.

That's rubbish.  If the Poole reserve rides well enough to outscore (say) Tobias Thomsen -- by no means an impossible target -- he would be retained.

Believe what you like, but the Poole No.7 has literally signed a contract to ride until the end of June.   Please go and ask him if you don't believe me.

West has been touting himself around all Promotions in the CL for 18 months. I don't think it's him but someone with compatively better form in Oz over the past few years

My hunch is that Poole have collared an Aussie who has not ridden competitively in the UK before; who was very close to signing for another Team in the CL; and who Poole unlike the other Team involved have successfully argued a case for to be on a 4 point average and not a 5 point average based on pulling strings with the Management Committee, based on some form elsewhere in Europe.

It's not a name I've seen mentioned anywhere so I'll keep stum on it for now but it'll all make sense when it happens!
