With 4.81 left maybe that leaves a door open for Hagon to return on a 4.73? I would welcome Sam back with open arms. Yes he tailed off hugely last year but so much potential in him and started last year on fire. He’s also in Australia over winter which will help him no doubt Sam's problem was that the "highly rated" Tobias had such a poor start to the season that Sam was promoted up from reserve before he was ready. It's worth remembering the better scores from Tobias came from riding in a reserve position.

Not sure I'd agree with that philosophy, Hagon got his average as high as 5.18 this season, wether you think Thomsen should have kept him at reserve for longer or not, if a rider is capable of that figure they have to expect to move up into the team. Some riders make the step up to the top 5 easier than others, Hagon obviously found it harder than might have been expected.
SamKM91
Lawson Hagon Z Cook Rowe Kerr T.Thomsen ? That’s the Poole team, I’m just not sure who’s at number 7 before Cairns takes over on July 1st

Unless they haven't decided yet.

A proper number 1 who scores well everywhere. Hagon a young Brit who has so much potential. Good equipment and will kick on this season. Zach and Rowe both are in for big big seasons. Both need to kick on and will surely be the strongest 3/4 pairing in the league. Kerr could take the number 1 jacket from Lawson should he stay injury free. Poole as always will bring the best out of him. Tobais will hopefully pick up where he left from. No excuses with injuries this season so should get out of the reserve berth quickly good luck to whoever’s number 7 and hopefully they can stake a claim to not be the one dropped for Cairns 1

Richard Lawson 9.17 Lewis Kerr 7.76 Zach Cook 6.23 Anders Rowe 6.11 Sam Hagon 4.73 Tobias Thomsen 4.41 Two Pointer 2.00 Total 40.41 1

That 1-6 = 38.41 leaving only 1.59 so not possible.

lewy
I'd be surprised if hagon is still at Poole especially as they let Vinnie go who is alot better prospect on a lower average. 2

Can't imagine any rider willing to take half a season at Poole over a full season elsewhere.

Not a bad fit all in all. To say it again a rider doesn't become bad overnight, Sam has slumped but he will come back just a matter of when, hopefully 2025 at Wimborne Road. Guess riders who want a challenge more likely to go for it.
