Lawson, kerr, zach,Rowe will be the top 4 for Poole they're still unsure of final 3 but I suspect there will be a new foreigner on an assessed average hagon and ford surplus to requirements unless Poole get 38pt team building limit they voted for along with Oxford, Berwick and Edinburgh. I can't see any of the other teams changing their minds imo.

Well Tobias + Vinnie + a 2 would work for a 40 total

From the horses mouth why Poole won't move up and a bit about the stadium situation.

Very sensible and makes complete sense.

Poole are in the fortunate position of being well supported.  For other clubs even the Championship is financially challenging. The big challenge for those running and promoting the sport is how to make it more appealing in order to effect an increase in supporter numbers. Riders must also realise they also have an integral part to play in this, for instance way too many just ride back to the pits after winning races.

Totally agree with this point. I hate to see winners just return to the pits. I can understand it if they’ve got a quick turnaround to their next outing or if there’s a mechanical issue but otherwise they should accept the appreciation of the crowd.
Sensible statement from Danny Ford.

Think all this hype on Cairns you would think he already a Heat Leader. He will not find it easy .IMO..PC,M Lee and Joe Screen  are ones I seen at that age ,is he in that mould already.Have not seen him live.

Yes, such a lot can and does happen with male youths between 15 and 20 years, including of course ongoing physical development which it's not possible to control. Michael Lee was something of a rarity being so tall but world-class at such an early age. How many tall riders have there been, at that level in the past 50 years? Of course, young Cairns may hopefully develop to be the perfect weight and shape to become a world class rider...but that's just the physical part!

Yeah it really annoys me too. You just get the impression that some of them don't get it or don't care. The age of the multi club rider appears to have fostered a culture of aloofness and less affinity with the fans. I don't think they realise how much fans clock this. Fans pay there wages, they should remember this and acknowledge them at every opportunity that presents itself, it goes a long way and costs nothing.

Having seen William Cairns a few times at Worky it is undeniable what a talented and confident prospect he is. Having said that I just hope he is well managed and not overly pressurised in his first season or two. He also needs to be lucky on the injury front. I wish him well.
