Not a case of panicking.

If the deal is done why not announce it. They were happy to release the post 1st July team before Xmas so why not announce this guy ?.

It is interesting though that many on the Poole Forum (and from other teams) knew most if not all the post 1st July team well ahead of the Ford's announcing, but with this one temp guy nobody seems to have worked out who it is yet.

I'm sure we will find out eventually. But if as you say deal done then why not put it out there.

I've heard it's matt Marston.

Could we not sign a certain Mr Hancock, his average must be low now. Then he can get Will dialed in for July.

Will has been training with Hancock stateside. There are some Instagram reels......!

Ps. I gather there has been a change to the original No.7 target, but all sorted now. I'm sure the announcement will be made to get the maximum local media coverage ie, when AFC Bournemouth are not the main sports story!!😉

Yep, the temporary signing of a no.7 speedway rider will be front page news. Don't understand your emoji 🙃

AFC Bournemouth playing so well at the moment I can't see them not being the main story for a while.

Don't understand your 'front page' reference. Sport is usually on back page and inside! My winking emoji was referring to today's AFCB injury  and player recall news which will surely be the main local sports story.

Gutted. Europe was a real possibility, but hard to believe the clubs position can be maintained. Will still be at Chelsea next Tuesday. Might have a player in by then but unlikely.

I will be at Chelsea too funnily enough!

That should shut a few up

I would say the opposite really

Personally I think Poole should be hammered for this, why even accept the invitation (or if never formally done so say you would) allowing press releases and fixture planning etc to be carried out then pull out, it is a nonsense!

The viability of accepting the meetings should have been looked into prior to doing so rather than months later once everything else was in place as you now have another club and fans in Sheffield impacted also.

I’ve never understood the Poole bashing before as I’ve thought of them as the gold standard, a tidy and full stadium every week and levels of success that would be the envy of most clubs in any sport let alone speedway but I can now see the self interest and quite frankly f you attitude to everyone else in the sport others talk about.
