Probably won't matter if Cairns lives up to expectation/hype. so if master Cairns does not live up to the promise , ur screwed .

He's not going to catch Tobias in terms of average. I'm guessing Starke was option B and they were trying to get a certain Aussie in on a 4.00 but he would have been a 5.00, hence the 'numbers game' excuse with Vinnie who as it turns out would have fit. Don't think he was plan B, cos apparently he was signed very early on. He was more likely a remnant of the 38 total team. The key to his success will be getting his machinery sorted & maintained, not beyond the wit of man. Maybe finances have been an issue, or possibly misplaced faith in his spanner person. It is providing the 15 year old signs & you get the parent/guardian to act as whitness. They key for any LoI being enforced is a clear action of if I do this you will do this in return. I have experience at academy & first team level of drafting such documents for a couple of Premiership football clubs.which have had to be legally enforced.

Not surprised in fact I kinda suspected it, maybe it's time to go professional? He isn't the first motor sport contestant finding themselves in that situation, fine while they come up through the ranks but generally there comes a time for an "awkward conversation". If that is actually what is holding him back let's hope he's had that chat.

I would say not necessarily, they still have made some good signings. Should make the top 4, even without Cairns. But they would probably struggle to win the play-offs without him.
