Bellers101
How many meetings will Starke manage to turn up for this season I wonder?

He knows bike issues won’t be tolerated and what’s expected of him. He is more a 5-6 pointer. Should make mincemeat of many of the Championship reserves. He's on 3.36 for a reason. He will have to be at least a 5 to keep his place, we know when Cairns comes in changes will be made and he could be the one to drop out. Why would you change Starke, when the 2.00 reserve would be a straight swap late June time, unless u know something I don’t.
Essex
2 hours ago, lewy said: Wow,well done foreverblue a Poole fan that's not brainwashed. Nor am I ,I said somewhere on here earlier in the year about Starke being not good enough anymore and was shot down so unless he has new rockets for engines he is not going to improve much at all letting Foord go seems ridiculous now but I don't run Poole speedway just a fan and I have always thought the Ford's get team building right mostly but this signing well let's wait and see
Triple.H.
1 hour ago, lewy said: I've not seen any footage of cairns tbh how good is he? Looks very good, but who knows how much his track kiss at the end of the season will affect him, some riders take forever and a day to get their mojo back. You can do thousands of laps, but you don't know how you'll react till the day four of you want the same spot going into the first turn. scaramanga
It was well talked about mid season that 2025 would be 40 pt limit So no way can anyone say it caught out anyone's team building plans
Supersub
Difficult call for 7th rider, ? Patrick Baek, Ben Trigger or Max James. Any other suggestions? Edited December 12 by Supersub

Any other suggestions? i really dont think it matters who it is as the fixtures will no doubt be designed for cairns to be old enough for as many as possible, just like lynn & lambert in 2014

Only James of those three would fit. It'll be a 2 pointer until July 1st when there may be more than one change based on GSAs upto 23rd June cut-off. With a later start to the season and careful management of fixtures from Easter to June, it'll be interesting!! I'm sure the Fords have all options considered.......
Supersub
No doubt we will know soon. Baek is a rider that hasn't been mentioned yet and maybe Plymouth will retain. Depends on travelling expenses and Danish commitments on a Wednesday. Ben Trigger may be the answer Edited December 12 by Supersub

Supersub
Read Trigger's average wrong Clive but Baek's was 2.62 or didnt't he ride enough meeting to obtain revised average.I don't dislike Starkey but just hope better bikes
HGould
The failure to secure VJ-F just doesn't add up? He was IN when limit was 38 points He would have FITTED in a 40 point Team We know that Danny boy spat his dummy out at the AGM to the degree some teams voted 40 just to wind him up! Now we get the "throw away line" from his Andrex sponsor and monitor Clive - that "Danny is no longer on the Management Committee" THAT throw away line needs EXPLAINING Clive as it does not appear to have been announce anywhere???... So the question is.. Why no VJ-F Was he pushed out? Did he pull himself out? Why no transparency ??.. Answers please

Because we are nearly a point under the limit which could be used to strengthen when Cairns comes in, not necessarily Starke but he seems the prime target depends who is not performing. Thanks for that, as I am trying to say we have nearly a point to play with, no reason not to use it when Cairns comes in. This team wont win the league but the one after July 1st might

Answers please I'm fairly sure I remember seeing an announcement about Ford stepping down as he had more commitments this year and he was replaced with someone but can't remember where I saw that and can't find it now. For Foord it could have just been he preferred Workington over Poole or Poole waited too long to sign him.
