Poole 2025

I'd disagree about his average, he's had half a season in the Champ & averages 4. Compare that to the likes of Perry, James, McGurk & Hodder who couldn't reach the minimum 2.00 average, just shows how successful Vinnie was.

Can only expect him to build on that for Workington in 25.

While most Poole fans would not want to see Vinnie go, i expect the team is built with a lower average rider at reserve so we can fit better riders in elsewhere in the team.

Yeah very disappointed to see that Vinnie won’t be returning. He’s an entertaining rider but I think an average of 3.9 isn’t the greatest value of money. Foord will get a great reception when he returns to Wimborne road

Deluded if you think a 3.9 average isn’t value for money when you take into account liebmann was higher than that for us and nowhere near Vinnie’s level. Have a word.

Liebmann was always a big risk on a 4 point average and was only signed  for headlines and PR.

i take it the Fords dont like takeing a risk on a rider and only want sperstars. Starke is next to sign for worky , then Steve Worrall. .  suck it up baby .

I wouldn't panic Poole fans, they always build great sides. They are probably the only club that takes real care in selecting riders. I mean Tobias Thomson was a masterstroke of signing. Came from nowhere and everyone thought he would be bang average. Poole saw something else. A rider with experience and potential to improve on his average beating riders that are far younger and less experienced. They don't just sign a rider for the sake of averages, they look at the finer details. That's what makes them better at team building.

Seems a crazy decision to let Foord go on that average … Poole fans see him as the next big thing so why let him go?

There is definite ‘baggage’ with Foord maybe that was the reason

Maybe it wasnt . prob something else , like giving up his spot in the Pooles porch pirates team .

The Fords take risks all the time   getting riders  like Tobias Thomsen. You are welcome to Starke and Steve Worrall, both likeable chaps, hope they do well for you. What are sperstars?

I'm sure the Fords will have another team next season challenging for Honours, so suck it up baby

They let him go because he would cost the promotion too much keep repairing the safety fence.🤣

Deluded? I really like Foord and would’ve had him back. However realistically he is unlikely to survive the season without an injury or two.
don’t know what relevance Lieberman has to my statement unless Poole are replacing Foord with her.
who ever Poole sign instead of Foord will I’m sure make sense.
poole wouldn’t have let go of Foord if it would make there team weaker

Surprised if Worrall at Worky. He's a bit of gamble with his troubles IMO

Richard Lawson

Lewis Kerr

Zach Cook

Anders Rowe

???

Mikkel Andersen

placeholder reserve (William Cains once he is old enough!)

I think Vinnie was pencilled in when the limit was expected to be 38. Once it ended up being 40, that gave the us an extra 2.00 to play with for the signing. I'm wondering if Ablitt gets brought back instead.

Would love to see Mikel Andersen sign for Poole. I put his name up on here some time ago and have seen several others mention him more recently.

Guy is only 17 in April 2025 but in his short career has Won SGP 3 in 2022 - 3rd 2023 and stepped up to SGP 2 (500 cc bikes) in 2024 where he finished 4th in the standing. Rode POL U24 in 2024 where he was 18th in Lge standings out of 115 riders who rode in the Lge over the season. 9 Matches as being only 16 in April with an av of 2.023 per ride.

Finished above likes of Pearson/Rowe/Flint/Bailey/Gilkes/Zischke.

Huge potential talent but would he give up DK (rode there in 2024).

Knowing our luck it will be a possible chance signing like Aussie Fraser Bowes 36th in same Lge - Age 23 -  Not done a lot in the U24 Lge last 2/3 seasons, in the hope that maybe he will be an improver like Ben Cook who many of us thought may not last a season before being dropped. How wrong the doubters were on him 😁.

Either would mean it takes 5 points leaving only 3.73 meaning good chance it would be Starke on 3.35 with Brit discount as only suitable option.

Unless of course it's Ablitt & Starke meaning we lose Tobias as he is 4.41.  Can't see Poole building to 0.96 below the 40 point limit if its Tobias and Starke . Especially with a 2 pointer holding up the rear until Cairns comes in.
