Great opportunity for another club to pick Foord up though - wonder who that might be? Haven't heard much about Vinnie outside of Poole/Glasgow, but I don't think he's coming up here (though I'd love to be wrong). He certainly scuppered Glasgow last season by maintaining his low average.Foord is a talent who will improve.
szkocjasid
If the options are Hagon & Starke or Thomsen & Foord, who would you want? Thomsen & Foord for me. Unless they've signed a great 5 point rider instead of Hagon? Edited November 16 by szkocjasid
ASpeedwayfan
Would be surprised and disappointed if Foord isn’t at Poole next season. Think along with most fans the team will look like. Lawson Hagon or Thompson Zach Rowe Kerr Foord 2pointer (Cairns) Hagon and Thompson will both keep the average below 40. For me it’s 50/50 to which one stays. Would like both to stay but that’s unlikely.

Hagon Vinnie Thompson all riders that will up there average next season wherever they are
TTT
Only explanation is that Ablitt is at No.2 which doesn't leave enough points for Foord. Could easily have retained Foord with one of Hagon/Thomsen.
Marky_Mark
People still guessing teams with Foord in, he’s not at Poole next season
Arthur54
Would love Vinnie and Toby back, they are crowd pleasers, just what we need, do not want boring old Starke or Kerr poodling about at the back

TTT
Lawson, Kerr, Z. Cook, Rowe & Carins (When Available) leaves 8.74 for two Former Pirate Ablitt 4.91 who's not at Scunny leaves 3.85 which means Foord 3.90 wouldn't fit but the rumoured Paul Starke does. Foord would've been retained if it was Hagon or Thomsen at No.2.

So more accurately it's 3 choices: Ablitt & Starke Hagon & Foord Thomsen & Foord Tbh if they have lined up a "temporary two point rider" till Cairns turns 16, they'll win the league whichever pairing they go for! Not sure who'd want to be a 2.00 rider at Poole though? Nearly double your average - then your reward is to be dropped! This year, ride till June then get replaced by Cairns! Surely Poole will HAVE to start with the weakest 2.00 option?

People have been saying for the past 2-3 seasons that Starke was on a bargain average and he’s just continued on a downward spiral before getting dropped each time, he’s on that average for a reason! Cami should've known that too. I think Starke & Foord would both be great reserves for Poole, they've got a good rider whoever they pick. Would've gone with Tobias & Vinnie myself. It was tactical though ,Pijper and Smith were never going to go above him in the averages for him to get to reserve.Thats why they they made the Team changes.
