I know Ben is highly unlikely to do championship but he may not what to miss out on picking up a few more trophies with his brother. 
Leaves just over 4 points for the Fords to find a young Aussie, Dane or another foreign Talent 

Ben doesn't need to do Champ anymore and ending on a possible treble before you move on is good way to go imo.

Heard the result of the pairs final UK bronze congratulations to the young trio, mind you the heavy lifting was by our(till Wednesday anyway) Tom Brennan. Well it made me think how lucky we've been having him as a Pirate for 2024. The top people in any sport are always two steps up on the people who are just very good, and Tom has the potential to be a top rider. I guess what I'm saying is that winning the triple this year would be a great achievement, but winning the triple in 2025  with Kerr or Thompson would be an even greater achievement.

Would prefer Poole to stick with Hagon over Thompson (if not having both) Hagon did have a very poor end to the season but had kept his average over 5 until the final GSA. Hagon undoubtedly has talent and good backing. Just a huge loss of confidence as soon as he started riding in the premiership.

No doubt going to Australia should help him get back to where he was and I would be disappointed if he wasn’t retained. Certainly has it in him to up his average.

Agree better to run than go bust tho didn't realise the promotion are sailing so close to the wind,know the French gaff needs shifting but thought speedway was solid (even allowing for tenuous landlord situation)Of course if as you say they will go bust by moving up then it would be very difficult to attract riders for a Premiership team anyway now they know that

It’s questionable where many decent riders would be attracted these days so it would be case of same riders different leagues IMO.They run a good business as it is not worth changing IMO

Never a case of going bust, just wanting to pay all bills on time. They don't do it just for fun do they? MF said at the time that costs were around 30% cheaper in Championship. Bearing in mind many costs are 'fixed' no matter what level of speedway we're in, the extra costs relate to riders and their deals!!
