Arch Stanton
Doesn’t seem to be one of Brennan’s better tracks. Two 5 point scores there this year. Think this will be over this evening.

Brennan scored a paid max (10+2) when guesting for Sheffield earlier in the season, was against a depleted King’s Lynn though

Either way it doesn't matter because everyone who's truthful knows full well that Ipswich would've done the double this year if it wasn't for injuries. Gavan
Sad that we go into this as total underdogs when a full strength side would have walked this ….. Sheffield by at least

DaveWayne
So different to last year then when Sheffield lost first Holder, then his replacement Woffinden before the KO Cup Final, followed by losing Musielak for the play offs ? Injuries are part of speedway. Yes Ipswich have been unlucky this season, but the fact still remains that Doyle announced his season was over in June. We all know you couldn't find an equal replacement, but surely bringing in a slightly lesser rider amd integrating him into the team would have been better than bumbling along for most of the season with guests and R/R ?

Doyle crashed on the 23rd of May, Birmingham announced Lindgren three days later so you’d guess that deal was all but done by the time Doyle had his accident. At that stage it wasn’t confirmed he was out for the season either, confirmation that his season was over came on June 1st. Ipswich don’t have “deep pockets” either despite what you read on here. We’ve been over this time and time again. They tried every top rider in Speedway and nobody suitable was available. Rather than jump in and sign someone who they weren’t particularly happy with, they went with guests in the hope someone became available right up to the cut off. As we know, that didn’t happen. It is what it is.

Yes because we can have a top 6 rider in the world guest can’t we!! … The situation with Lambert was brought in to prevent anyone doing what Sheffield did last season You remember earlier in the season when we had Doyle and Emil and won … or recently when we had Emil and only just lost? 2 full strength teams over 2 legs Ipswich win and all fans know that Not Sheffield’s fault as you can only beat what’s in front of you
2ndbend
King is no longer at this level.... he needs to stick to the championship and take Hawkins with him.

Thanks for the final sentence. Glad you realise it isn't our fault as some seem to be blaming us !! And just stepping back a bit, you mentioned signing Chris Holder as a positive yet when we announced him most on here said he was a has been who was poor on most UK tracks. Gavan
Jesus what do people expect from King? Lidsey and Brennan score 13 between them and Doyle and Emil let’s say got 20 and it’s a 6 point loss and everyone would have been happy King isn’t a heat leader at this level and he wasn’t signed to be one he was signed to get 7 or 8 a meeting along with Ellis so is anyone going to have pop at Ellis as well …. And reserves do beat higher ranked riders especially at home …. Jenkins beat Bewley the other week and Dan T has beat Janowski and also Harris this season to name but two
