Can only think Brum will need to go for riders like Zagar, Bjerre etc if they can't get Musielak. Either that or pull a rabbit out of a hat somewhere (which will probably mean paying silly money). Don’t think it matters a great deal and there’s been nothing between them this season. Ellis 19 meetings GSA 5.90 King 17 meetings GSA 6.15 When you factor in that King rode the last third of the season struggling with his broken hand which saw him reject guest bookings and saw his average drop, but still finished with a slightly higher season average, is keeping Ellis over King wise? Appreciate some feel it just needs a parting of the ways, but one has to go to make room for Brennan and I don’t think it makes a huge difference scoring wise. Both would provide very similar scoring over the season for me. I think both have scope to improve their current averages, King’s with the caveat though of sorting his problematic hand injury.

Shows the strength of the Ipswich team really that in an ideal world, Rew will continue his progression next year in to a bona fide heatleader, meaning either Ellis or King will be the 5th strongest member of the side behind Doyle, Emil, Brennan and Rew. That’s potent. Good reserve pairing also, Jenkins one of the stronger rising Stars and Dan on a 25% reduction and in a reserve berth. I’m one of the ones who thinks that there needs to be a parting of ways for many reasons, I’ve thought that for the last 2 seasons. While I agree there isn’t much between King & Ellis I’d still have Ellis. The biggest issue with King staying is that he’d be skipper again & he isn’t skipper material. The 25% reduction for rising stars is only for team building purposes, that's if they drop being a rising star obviously. The 2.5% reduction for the Brits gives them a new starting average basically,so if that takes Lawson under Cook then Cook wll be no1. A rider's 2025 starting average is their actual average achieved in 2024. The 2.5% is just for team building!

I constantly said Brennan would start at reserve when he had his 25% reduction, only for so many people tell me I was wrong. But I was correct & he started at reserve. This year won't effect Dan or Anders as they'd be in the same position regardless of average used.
