Manifesto
KING’S LYNN: Jan Kvech, Benjamin Basso R/R, Ben Cook, Connor Mountain, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Kerr, Anders Rowe. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Josh Pickering, Tai Woffinden R/R, Jason Edwards, Joe Thompson. Looking at the lineups you’d fancy the KL reserves to score well I think if they score 10+ between them the stars will win comfortably. Picko had an absolute mare last time we visited can’t see him doing that in current form. The bonus point could be enough for Sheff to finish top so I’d be happy with us just keeping it close and coming back with no injuries ready to go into the cup final/play offs. 48-42 home win
Wollyhat
I think that tonight could be a good match. From the Sheffield side I just hope that we don't ride as bad as we did last time. If Picko rides like he has been doing of late and Jason keeps up the improvement he has shown over the last few meeting then I think that Sheffield should just about do it. I always like coming to KL as I have happy memories fron my time on the spanners with Adam Allott.
Hackett
Tigers will need Pickering to continue his fine form and the Holder brothers to both get in the points. Edwards has been improving this season but Anders Rowe has got better as the season has gone on. Think the Tigers can keep it relatively close but Stars win at home. Bald Bloke
17 rides for Sheffield's top 3, 18 if they go 6 behind.. With Picko going well on his shiny new Ashtec engine, the Tigers could score anything from 30 to 35 between the 3 if they go well, and if its nearer 35, it don't leave much for the other 3 to get. Our reserves should out gun the Tigers duo though. 46-44 Edited August 29 by Bald Bloke spelling
TINYS
The track will be safer to ride out wide than Owlerton.

That was very unfortunate and you know that.He lifted slightly and caught the back of Klindt and unfortunately he ended up over the fence. 2
StarBoy
Very surprised the KL promotion didn’t do a package offer for yesterday and today - especially knowing tonight’s is streamed on BSN. Was there last night and looked the poorest crowd I’ve seen all season, can imagine there will be even fewer tonight… Some gesture of both meetings for £35-£40 might have tempted a few more…?

We did get a free programme for tonight.
offbeatdave
Last night was generally gate 'n' go apart from maybe 3 heats. Think if Sheffield gate tonight, can't see anything other than a Tigers win.

Tonight was pretty much a carbon copy, it was entertaining but I think Sheffield missed a trick as Leicester can still take top spot. The Crowd again looked dreadful.
TINYS
Poor crowd tonight as expected lot of tape to tape just a few passes, finished a bit later than last night due to the 30 or so laps of the tractor exhibition.
Manifesto
Great effort from Jack once more. Howarth and reserves cost us in the end as most would have predicted. Hope they step it up for the play offs!
Col
Ben Cook certainly improved at Saddlebow Rd over night.

4BenMoran
Well that’s 2hrs I won’t get back, FTG in possibly 12 of the 15 races, Saddlebow Rd used to be a great race track now it’s just another gate and go track
spin king
A win at Kings Lynn would have given us the top spot in the league. But on present form its looking as though Leicester will now finish top., as you would think that they will win both meetings against Kings Lynn and achieve the bonus point. So it is looking as the Play Off Semi Finals will be. Leicester v Ipswich Sheffield v Belle Vue

Enjoyed the atmosphere which the pocket of Sheffield fans on the second bend brought though. Would love Ben Cook at Lynn next year if he's not back at BV. IainB
I know Buster is a law into himself but last night, no 2 mins clock on the centre green... transponders? But a clear beach of the rules, no interval to be held in a 15 heat match before heat 10, interval was after heat 9... who cares for the rules though? Good win for Lynn Edited August 30 by iainb
