William was indeed invited, and had provisionally accepted.  However, he has now been called upon to represent GB in a 250cc event the same day, and cannot compete.   This detail has also been posted on the club website, to keep everyone advised and informed.

There's a big spread of riders ability here, can see some strung out races, maybe they should think of a handicap system regarding what league they ride in to balance it up, just my thoughts

They are all NDL riders so why would you even think that ?

Some have rode champioship league for a couple of years big difference of ability eg senna summers and Jake Mulford don't you think?

No, I dont, they are all NDL level , some are more experienced than others , thats all, they are all in that league and have to race each other so no handicap required.

On opening this thread, I hinted that Jake Mulford might start favourite -- he can pull out big races in meetings like this (I recall Jake being a surprising, but deserved runner-up to Leon Flint for the 2022 U-19 title) -- but there are others in the field ready and more than able to prove me wrong.

One thought:  While we know the winner will be crowned the latest and worthy Stars of Tomorrow winner -- the list of winners goes back 54 years, begod -- is this the final round of the NDLRC series, or are there more to come?      Has anyone published the current pecking order?

How can it be part of ‘the series’ and have a current ‘pecking order’ when this field is mostly reserves and very few have taken part of the other two meetings  ?

Regardless of the riders (who were mainly nominated by their NDL clubs, not Berwick) having not all contested all the other rounds, the NDLRC is being run as a series.  The rider with the most points after the final round will be the champion.

However, Berwick have created a focus for the evening by running the "Starza" in parallel, meaning that their will be a winner, and a podium, on the night.

If it’s not the same riders how can it be a ‘series’ ?, another speedway fiasco.

Well done Freddie and his 16 competitors.

Enjoyed the meeting and good to see the riders walk away after their crashes.

Much prefer the format of top points scorer wins (unlike GP's when top points scorer doesn't always make the final never mind winning).

The National League Riders’ Development Series is a series of individual events, but they are not connected to each other, there is no overall winner.

Sadly there is no NDLRC this year, despite Poole calling their staging that.
