Your problem is with Brady riding in an FIM meeting. Multiple riders have done this over the decades without reproach. You cannot have a problem with one but not another - can you?

Brady and the current rules, yes.Must admit didn't know the rules from decades ago.

Do the rules make exception for FIM meetings?

Apparently so as injured riders have participated in FIM events without reproach for decades. If you suddenly want to ban the Collins, Carters, Lorams and Kurtz of this world then go for it. There is a point where you hold your hands up and say, yes this IS a different situation, especially given the amount of historical information to base my opinion on. You are entitled though to continue to lambast this particular Belle Vue rider.

As far as the rules are concerned, it is the same, there is no distinction between riding for a team or individually. Covatti didn't ride in a foreign league match, it was an open meeting, the Totalizator ZZ MO Krsko Open meeting in Slovenia for which he received a 28 day suspension.

Didn't comment on Brady's injuries from Monday... just wanted to know why he wasn't riding in the evening when he was in the morning, not too much to ask I don't think.

You did however, between 8:45 on Monday and today make 7 (and counting) post throwing doubt on his injuries or questioning why he’s not been banned.

Never once cast doubt on Brady's injuries. Not interested in what happened in a different century, I'm interested in the application of the rules in 2024. I'm questioning why Kurtz, Tungate & Lampart have not been suspended

Quote the rule please.

The SCB themselves issued a statement detailing Brady’s aborted participation for his Polish League Club Rybnik in their league fixture on the 15th June 2024. There was no mention of his participation in the FIM meeting by the SCB. They were happy with that yet we have two fans who decide to dismiss the opinions of the rule makers (odd when they are so intent on upholding the rules as put out by the er SCB) and follow there own little crusade against this Belle Vue Ace. History is against you, the SCB are against you, I am very much against you. It’s 2024 though and you are entitled, entitled to post on social media whatever nonsense you wish to invent to satisfy your own agenda and to hell with the rest. Brady’s wrong, I’m wrong, the SCB are wrong etc etc etc but you are right.

The statement from the SCB relates to Kurtz's further shenanigans after his initial offences were committed (end of May/ early June), the ones I provided you the dates and venues for after you called me a troll. The SCB statement also makes no mention of FIM events, it does say "if Mr Kurtz competes in any other events "

As you seem to be living in your own reality, some time in the 1970's, I'm going to draw a line under it now as far as you're concerned.  Enjoy your Speedway :)

He does love Lynn though,as he said again tonight😁.He seems to have a good rapport with the fans too.

Belle Vue were a disappointment tonight, with only Lidsey a stand out for them imo.Bewley was hit a miss a bit expected more from him.Cook solid, the other 3 were poor.I hope Ouch doesn't think this is another dig at Belle Vue riders.

For Lynn,Lawson was awesome as per his normal visits here,Iversen had couple of poor rides but boy did he roll back the years in ht15 that was a cracker with Lidsey.Kemp got more than I expected,Harris didn't although he had an ef while 2nd.Kerr not great imo,Rowe again very good,my rider of the season. Why did he only get 4 rides🤔.Into the main body of the next week.Could be a nice little average for next season.

Will Monday's meeting against Leicester include a closing down ceremony after ht 15,

Or will Lynn fans get the chance to say goodbye at a farewell to the AFA meeting with any ex stars riders who accept an invitation to attend as long as the supporters club pay for there entry .

If the Stars are running next year and 2025 is anything like this year, you will see Lawson at Lynn. He’ll be riding for you most weeks as a guest when whoever you’ve signed gets p*ssed off with Buster.

Without dropping into anorak mode and trawling the stats, is this not Lawson’s best ever season in British speedway? Outside of the three British GP riders, on current form I would suggest he is the next go to man.

He's certainly been our rider of the year imo

Straight forward win with Belle Vue pretty much being a 3 man team. Would have been a much tougher challenge if Kurtz had ridden.

Think the referee was the only person in the stadium who thought Bewley pipped Lawson in 13. Robbed of his paid max.

Good to see Niels continue his recent good form. His race in 15 with Lidsey was just like the rider of old.

Despite all the troubles the team keeps fighting and there’s been some great meetings at the AFA this season.

Hopeful that the Stars will be back on track in 2025. I’ve heard rumours both ways, but as a naturally positive person, until I’m told otherwise, I’ll keep dreaming of a Lambert (Robert), Lawson, Basso, Kvech & Iversen or Klindt top 5 next season.
