RR for Brady according to the BSPA website.

Polish clubs would be hindering themselves by benching their best riders so I don't know why the riders cave in to empty threats all season long. Maybe they get fined, suppose it depends what is in their contract
ShanoXtra
Well Doyle has been asked to give back £75,000 to grudziądz as he missed all season and now Torun asked Emil to give back money as he isn’t featuring in the play offs for them. So poland are renowned for asking for their money back.

Musielak barely missed a Sheffield fixture for a few seasons, yet his attitude since the move has been shocking. Kvech was a rubbish in the arm, but he seems to have given up caring. I was going to attend the original staging and add Saddlebow Rd to my tracks visited list. I can't tomorrow but I definitely wouldn't have bothered anyway. WTF you on about? Jesus wept.

Up front payments, or pro rata part thereof, needing to be paid back? More than five fans on the internet moaning at you? .... You don't Riss off your fans in Poland... And riders will want places next season, and well beyond if you are Basso's age, so you don't want to get a bad rep for not following their instructions, unless maybe of course you are "irreplaceable", but there are not many of them... If one Polish club dumps a rider then another club will just pick them up because half of the league is desperate for big hitters in the Ekstraliga. Many contracts stipulate any missed meetings due to getting injured in other leagues will mean a return of some, or even all, money paid up front... FIM meetings are usually exempt from it... As Doyle has said, one point in Poland equals a max worth of money in the UK... They pay the money, they (quite rightly), dictate the terms....

arnieg
Re Kvech's absence: https://www.speedwaya-z.cz/?p=56076 That's dated DECEMBER 2023! But on BSPL preview: King’s Lynn boss Rob Lyon said: “We’ve got Richard again, riding at No.1 for Jan (Kvech) because he’s away in a Czech Ekstraliga match which we can’t change unfortunately, which wasn’t on the calendar when we looked at it, so that’s one of those things really. Hmm.

ouch
“Captain Brady Kurtz, who was ruled out of the Owlerton leg of their bank holiday Monday after feeling the effects of a crash in Poland the previous week, remains sidelined for Wednesday. His rides will be covered by Rider Replacement with each of his ATPI Aces team mates eligible to fill his shoes should he be called upon to do so.” Glad to see The Aces are back to putting out meeting previews in a timely manner. Many thanks to Buster. Least we don’t need to resort to leaking things on social media.
