He will still be on 6.00 next month as he’s only completed 5 matches with tonight’s cancellation, and I don’t think we’ll be needing to worry about next year’s average!

Doesn't he get a real average a few days after completing his sixth meeting so that will be some point in early September by which time we may well still have meetings to race - at Edinburgh perhaps the way things are going ...or not going! If i was PM, his bikes would have been in the van after his second heat and sent on his merry way. If you were prime minister, you would've raced a heat with one rider only rather than giving Ivacic a 3rd ride? 😑

We used 8.00 on him and Garrad, and with Garrad unlikely to score many points, he needed to average 7.50+ just to stay pat. Right now he's on 4,00 and after tonight could end up being a reserve in the next Green Sheets. Ironically Starke is averaging slightly more for Workington. File under "it seemed like a good idea at the time" Very few fans thought it was a good idea when the double change was made, only the promotion could claim "it seemed like a good idea at the time"

You’re right, yes. But he’ll start the month at 6.00. 1 hour ago, szkocjasid said: Very few fans thought it was a good idea when the double change was made, only the promotion could claim "it seemed like a good idea at the time" We all also knew we weren’t making the playoffs with the team we had, and the promotion decided sticking with a team that was known to not be good enough wasn’t acceptable. They showed they weren’t prepared to just accept the season petering out without trying it, even if it was ultimately fruitless. I think most of us expected more than we’ve seen though, even if we didn’t think it would be enough.

Unless he scores far better against Redcar, he'll be at reserve for our meeting at Armadale on Sept 6.
