Scott seems to be doing what he does best and is racing hard, pity the rest cannot pick up on this attitude. Notwithstanding the Witches have been hit with injuries, the inept management who have carried on making no attempt to replace Doyle with a rider and continually using RR sums up the contempt they have for the supporters and the club. Almost a case of put up and shut because we know best. Well none of the management thought through what would happen if Emil was sidelined and then Ellis gets taken out. The only thing they did right was get Scott on board who has been a loyal servant which is more that Hawkins and Louis deserve. Am I the only one who cannot fathom out how Hawkins has held his position for so long. Maybe the Ipswich loyalty scheme, but that does not buy you titles or cups. Sad to say that the rich heritage that the witches had is slowly fading together with the sport which based on the current set up is past its best but those in charge don’t seem to realise it.  Oh well not much anyone on here can do apart from vote with you feet and hard earned cash.

What a whole load of drivel that was. Please don't part with your cash.

What do you know. Facts speak for themselves, Doyle could have been replaced with a rider, may not of the same calibre but they gambled on everything being OK and clearly a risky sport like speedway, that is a fool hardy position to take and unless you are in the know and can explain why they have either not picked decent guests or failed to get guests in, I suggest you wind your neck in. I have spent enough money and years attending meetings so when it comes to comments on the keyboard, I suggest you go scre yourself.

You really have no idea

You sum up what this is all about and so I wish you well with your self opinionated comments. I could not care less what your elk think, this is just a good wind up up of suckers like you.

Please can someone tell me why the Witches management did ask Tom Brennan to guest instead of Zac Cook. Tom was on Facebook saying how he had an easy week this week and shared his calendar showing tonight free. I'm sure we would have faired better with Tom at 5 and Scott at 4.

Probably not but ilk might better describe it.You really are an FCW and sitting here in Malta, it is a great to read the crap spouted by people like you. No one gives a toss. In the wider world British speedway does not even register as a subject for discussion let alone on the home front where support has dwindled to the point where more people go fishing weekly than watch speedway

Good, no one give a toss. Get a life. It is crap anyway and if you think the sport has a future in this country you are another of the deluded souls.

No, you are supposed to keep all your named riders from the first match....

Even if you are getting hammered every week and your crowd levels drop...

But why shouldn’t you Mike? Is six months not long enough to build your team? If you happen to stuff it up having six months to get it right, well tough!!

I don’t and stopped a long time ago giving funds to a dying cause.

I don't understand that logic, I don't decide wether or not to "give funds" based on weather the sport is dying or not, I base it on wether I think it's value for money or wether I'll be entertained.

I would never avoid going to a match I thought would be good just because I think the sport is struggling in the UK.

Fair play to all those that attended tonight. It’s difficult turning up knowing your team is 99% certain to lose but there were more than I expected. I was there because I had no choice due to work, but I wouldn’t have been there otherwise. it isn’t our year obviously and it’s really hard work at the moment. On a brighter note, I saw some baubles in a shop today. Merry Christmas.

Well, that was a meeting Ipswich could've won. Rew, Jenkins, Thompson and Cook seemed terrified of the outside line, in heat 2 they kept trying to go on the inside of Mulford but Bewley had already shown the outside was working. Finally, when Jenkins was forced to go wide by Nicholls in heat 11 he found it worked. That was a great race by Scott who rode inside and out to thwart Bewley.

Thompson seems to have gone backwards at Foxhall in recent meetings and anyone giving up before the chequered flag will get criticism from me. They can turn it around and Witches fans will be hoping they do.

Please don't book Zach Cook again - sods law he'll get a hatfull next week🙂

But for injuries Ipswich I reckon would have finished top of the league and won the play offs.

Losing Jason Doyle is a massive loss, for me in the UK irreplaceable, in the UK I think he the best rider.

I don't think that any rider in the world could do what Jason does in the UK.

Then losing Emil is a further hammer blow, to lose both Jason and Emil effectively turns their season upside down.

Some say that they should have got replacements in but I don't think it is that easy, although we are slowly getting a better class of rider riding in the UK, but a large amount of decent riders still don't view the UK worth coming over to ride.

Including a double header as Wolves quickly crammed in their final fixtures due to the play offs looming.

Only one team brought a rider in just for the play offs alone. That was play off Bob in 2022. Thankfully the rules have been changed back to stop teams doing this again, particularly as just the one team benefited from it.
Poole brought in Hancock a month before the play offs also.
Both above board.

Well done Scott 46 yrs old seven  rides only dropping six points and against some of the top PL riders he is true credit to the sport .I do hope he turns out in 2025 he seems to have pleny left in the tank and is not there just to make up the numbers .
