Ipswich v Belle Vue August 22nd

Recommended Posts

Will any of the BV supporters come on here like the Sheffield ones and claim Ipswich will win with a line up like that. Another home loss coming and wouldn’t surprise me to be a bigger loss than the previous two. Can’t believe we are going RR again, the spirit in the team has been eroded with losing Emil.

And now you know how Lynn have felt all season without a number 1 & 5.

And, unfortunately I think the meeting at Owlerton will be the last we ever see of Emil Sayfutdinov racing on these shores. Toruń certainly won’t let him come back this year, and I’m pretty sure they’ll block it next year as well.

It's a good job it's not their decision then.

Makes me laugh that Hawkins says the defeats are down to having not enough bodies in the team at the moment, yet we are still going RR on Thursday. Going RR and losing Emil has affected all the riders now and their confidence seems to have drained away.

Good for the averages for next season though

I really hope that you’re wrong although I have a horrible feeling you might be right . One thing is for certain if Emil rides in the uk it will be at Ipswich.

Louis put a lot of time & effort into herring Emil to these shores to do that he is obviously respected by Emil’s own management & that of Toruń so maybe we can remain hopeful

So gutting for the promotion.

Ipswich would've walked the league and cup this season with a full 1-7 as proven by how they performed on a consistent basis with a full 1-7.

You just cant cover for Emil and Doyle because you need two riders who are capable of putting up 25+ points around Foxhall.

Even a guest for Ellis around Foxhall needs to be scoring over his GSA to cover for Adam's points.

Agree with this. Especially as we now know Lawson is available because he’s taken a guest booking for Lynn. Ipswich have gone for R/R for how many meetings now? Just how much effort is being put in to giving the fans a seven man team again to watch?

On Emil. I think he’ll be back personally. If he doesn’t, it’ll probably be Doyle and Musielak top two. Not too shabby.

Emil will be back next year. He seems the type to be loyal and I genuinely think he enjoys riding Ipswich, I also believe Emil and Doyle will want to ride together again. Heat 15 Belle Vue play offs for me will never be beaten, as they nod at each other over the line!

Also, Torun may well be out of the play offs with a fully fit Gorzów. I’m going to the Gorzów home meeting on the 1st. If Torun are out then Emil has a free September calendar for Ipswich. Hoping he is fit of course !

Building a mini Swindon (and title winning) with Doyle, Musielak and Ellis

Hawkins can say "band together" but has to start with the management. R/R has stopped working so try something else, get another guest. Brennan / Becker / Masters / Douglas / Pickering / Kurtz. Or will we just get fed the bullsh*t that "they tried all options" again.
