Poole Pirates Vs Workington Comets Bsn semi final

Recommended Posts

After last weeks disappointing but not unexpected defeat in the league to Oxford the Pirates are back in action this coming Wednesday against the Comets in the Bsn.

Last time the Comets visited in the league they were crushed 61-29.

Not expecting the same result this time around and at this present time I don't know the 1-7 of the Comets.

Poole need to bounce back from the two defeats in the league and set about building a good lead to take up to Northside next weekend.

Thoughts?

Vissing missing but this time a bad injury from northside last week. Comets could be on the end of a Poole backlash after last week's result. But I hope the comets do better than last time and keep it close, so we can win at northside on aggregate 😀 can we have Dan Bewley as a guest as he's a cumbrian

Drew Kemp or Jason Edwards look like the best options for Vissing. Both have scored double figures at Poole this season, Drew has as scored 12 and 11. Jason Edwards scored 12.

Reckon it will be both. Jason for Claus. Drew for Tate.

They would be good options for the Comets however, just because they both scored double figures, does not mean that they will again.

True, but Drew's 12 was when he guested for Plymouth, so it's a safe bet he'll prob score that many again when guesting!

As he has said, Poole is one of his favourite tracks.

Hi Lisa, you maybe right  but it's on the night where anything can happen. Poole to win hopefully with an Improved performance after last week.

Happened when Jason guested for us against Poole at home. Maximum on his previous visit to Workington then couldn’t get going for us.

Is this on BSN?

BSN are not showing the BSN semis and final - apparently!!  They don't like showing Poole too often!😍

ps. looks as though Craig Cook is back for Leicester this evening so barring any injury (or feeding/changing duties) he should be at Wimborne Road on Wednesday!
