Top 4 finishing order

I get it, I just don't care.

The 4 teams in the playoffs haven't been fixed, and to win everybody has to beat 2 of the other 3, so what does it matter who rides against who in the semis ?

I go to speedway to be entertained, I really don't see the point in getting stressed about the politics, I have enough of that at work. This is supposed to be fun !!

You should care if you want Speedway to survive.  If you don't think things like this will have an affect then your being very naive.  There will be no Speedway to entertain you if the sport keeps doing things like this.

There's been another last minute rule change announced and it's that during Belle Vue's home leg Bewley and Kurtz will be starting from a 15 metre handicap in every race. It's okay though as everybody is still riding against everybody else and you will be entertained.

He'd like that hes a Sheffield fan LOL

On recent results I think we will be fine without the headstart. 😉

Yes you most probably will, still be 11 league titles behind though lol.

How's the marketing campaign coming along?

"As the club builds up the atmosphere on Thursday, there will be 120 whistles and 30 trumpets given away by Lenny The Lion at the main gate prior to the meeting.

BBC East Midlands Today will also be in attendance and will be speaking to Stewart Dickson and one of the riders at around 6.45pm."

That'll give anybody that happens to see it 45 minutes to get there, probably an hour as it's on Eurosport to claim their ear trumpet, the place will be heaving!

MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE

the play off semi finals was forced onto the teams for commercial reasons so they could advertise and sell tickets etc.

But arguably the bigger meeting we only have 4 days to promote and sell tickets.

Make that make sense

Thankfully Ben Cook's injury was not as bad as was possibly first thought (even though the Belle Vue website doesn't even think it worthy of mention)... but imagine it had have been and it was all because he was riding in a meeting he should never have been participating in!
