Lewy is right on this one, cookie hadn’t been paid since the start of the season when we were there in May.

The comets spent a fortune for the team they had last year.

You will say the world is flat next

Saw he’s still riding at 49 years old, could do a job on a 4.00

Heard his countryman Robert Nagy is the favourite though

Sandor Tihanyi 2nd Fave too. Could do with a man on the inside to set up regular deals. Still to be riding at 49 is impressive in itself 😜

The cancellation of the Ben Fund and the guarantee it was bringing to the club had a knock on affect with this, but it got sorted in the end.

It was a rather ambitious jump into the deep end of professional speedway.

And to think all the worky fans couldn't understand why cookie wasn't in the team for 2025. Maybe he wants to be paid on time.

Is this the same rider you made unsubstantiated comments about before the start of last season? Throwing more stones from your glass house again..

Slanderous indeed. You seem to know an awful lot about every Championship Club but never seem to produce anything that validates your allegations.

is it slanderous though  3 names kept getting mentioned last year that were owed money(nothing new in speedway )2 mentioned allready have a guess at the third

Yeah being pushed into the championship early never helped, but yes thankfully all was sorted in the end.

It's also funny how Blobby suggest he knows how much other clubs pay riders but never says how little Edinburgh pay theirs.

Probably realises the cost of certain riders unlike clubs who cant attract a certain calibre rider 🙉
