Workington 2025

Recommended Posts

All quiet on the signing front which is slightly concerning. Have Workington hit a road block.

Looking at points available I would think Batchelor is nailed on at number 1 but why not announced? Is he to reunited with Cook at Berwick or even Plymouth?

Not many number 1 left or even available seem a bit weird regardless who the 4 point rider is surely we have a number 1 agreed?

Or the fact he wouldn't fit 🤦‍♂️

If the rumours doing the rounds about Schlein on Berwick Forum page are true he would fit

By my reckoning only 6 riders who have a team building average of 8.00 or more from last years championship field will start in 2025.

Harris, Masters, Lawson, Wright, C Cook and Batchelor.

Probably shows how much the dynamic of team building changes to teams building to a more strength in depth option, not out of choice but because they have to.

Redcar might be the only expection in 2025 if they have Wright, King (just under 8.00) and the return of Riss.

Maybe a couple of 6's may do and set the team up like 2018. Bound to be some back catalogue riders ready to step in like Klindt or Ellis

You think Klindt or Ellis would come in on a 6? Or am I misunderstanding your post...

you dont need a high averaged  rider at 1 to win tin silver pots (2018)  rene bach at 1 , then down to reserve and back up into the 1 to 5 . ..

I thought it was Prem Ave x 1.5 which would make it:

Klindt 9.89

Ellis 8.20 Inc discount

Someone I’m sure can correct me if I’m wrong?

That's what i get

Five months before the season has started & some clubs haven't announced any riders, so no I wouldn't be concerned yet.

Plenty of unsigned riders still out there.
