Has he not ridden in the under 24 league?

No he is 29 now, but did ride a handful of meetings for Opole this year but his season was cut short. Previous to that he’s hardly rode anywhere apart from international meetings for Ukraine.

Stanislav Melnychuk is a very exciting rider, particularly at this level of the sport, and if his disturbed schedule from last season hasn't affected his progress in the sport he'll do a good job. He's the type of rider, as a neutral, I would come to watch.

Hope this rumour turns out to be true.

If he has ridden for Opole he will be a 5

Potentially a 6.00 cause he might have an average of over 5.99 in Poland which he may be around that number.

So how he can even possibly be a 4.00 would be great to hear.

You's might not finish rock bottom this year with him in the side hahahahah

A good reason we finished bottom is because Jye's average drop was the 2nd most in the league (only behind Ben Barker).

Didn't help when we also had Lewis Kerr 3rd equal either (a good enough reason for Berwick fans not wanting Jye back).

Hopefully he does go well for Workington.

Just saying you shouldn't be dropping your average by just under a point when the league averages strength dropped by 2 points this past season.

Workingtons gain Berwick loss hope he scores a maximum at Berwick to shut up all the Berwick fans who have bagged him out

Is the feeling that Troy Batchelor will be back at number 1  ?  if he is his average is 8.46 so that would leave 4.3 for the last rider so could be an assessed 4 rider.

we got lucky with the 2, five point riders last season . i dont think we will do it again .forst meeting against BERWICK will give us a yea or bust .

etheridge needed a change of scenery i think and going to worky might do him the world of good

He said that himself. Reggie will do a job for you . Wider track which he will like. He will up his average this year. Guarantee he will score well back at Berwick when you visit

It was "bust" after the Comets first trip to England/Scotland (do they even know which they are) this season and look how that turned out by the end of the season. There's always a risk with new riders, especially on their first visit to the unique uk tracks, but I'm sure most true fans will back the promotions team choices

Has anyone put any thought into the fact Matic Ivacic hasnt been announced anywhere and he would fit with his average? His style would be great around the GTTA

Would imagine the promotion haven't either😉

Regarding Jye, Berwick’s loss is most certainly Workingtons gain and he is a far better rider than his 4.98 average suggests. I’d fancy him to put at least a point on that and prove any doubters wrong.

Those who “bagged” on Jye at Berwick were a vocal minority and I know that the large majority of Bandits faithful are disappointed he has left and will be sure to give him a rousing reception on his return to Sheilfield Park, I have no doubt he will “haunt” Berwick with a number of strong scores against not only us but every team in the league.

He was a fantastic servant to the club and I can only wish him well for his season at Workington.
