I heard that Etheridge is signing for Edinburgh?

I’m guessing the Comets are going for two 5 point riders. Etheridge would fit of course on 4.98, depends if it’s worth the gamble of having another new U24 Ekstraliga rider to the UK. They don’t always work out like we had last season

Your normally the person in the know. Must be slipping as the years go on 🙈

1. Batchelor

2. Bowes

3. Vuolas

4. Etheridge

5. Zischke

6. Lightcap

7. Foord

Many question marks over this team. Antti and Tate still relative newcomers and learners . Bowes and Lightcap total newcomers and unlikely to be as effective as Tate and Antti in their first season. Jye Etheridge can hardly be classed as an improver and isn't great away from home. Vulnerable for sure.

Don't believe anyone should include Sam in 2025 Comets lineup, it won't happen.

There’s going to be a 2 point reserve in the team. Who is out there who would be better? Would seem like a waste of time to stick with sam all last season to just drop him this year. You can carry 1 reserve.

You're right about Tate and Antti still learning away tracks and any other newcomers having to learn away tracks will make the Comets suspect away from home. Personally I can see Jye being a big improver this year. He'll love his new home track and the wide open spaces, plus from the teams point of view having someone else in the team who knows all the away tracks will be essential. I can see Jye adding 1.5 points on his average this year. I think Jye at his worst is a 5.00 point rider. I think he'll be a good improver and will be good for the team too.

Have the rules changed this year over the 2 point reserve?

Would appear that there is no requirement for a 2pt reserve for 2025. Always need at least 1 good resrve and preferably 2 . I've always thought a top 1 and 5 coupled with 1 strong reserve are pre-requisites to being very competetive.
