Sure he could get flights sorted

Polish 2nd/3rd tier ride on Saturday and Sunday,  also now wanting riders to be in Poland 24 hours before a meeting,  also with worky being a bit out of the way with decent airport connections to Poland, I can't see it working riding for the Comets unfortunately,  if antti not at belle Vue, maybe Birmingham an option?

Don’t put that kind of negative energy in to the atmosphere, I’d rather have 6 riders.

Have to agree I’m not a fan after the runaround he gave the Club the last time. But am sure you would agree he rides Shieldfield well.

From the conversations I had on Friday, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Vuolas in comets colours next season. He’s apparently been signed up by a polish team.

If he is riding in Poland then logistically it is highly unlikely Antti will be wearing the big C next season which would be shame. At least he is a Comets asset.

I thought otherwise before Friday's presentation night but given how Batch spoke I probably see him being back again next season if the limit is 40.

We could end up with something like this, just a guess;

1    Troy Batchelor  8.46
2    Sam Hagon      4.73
3    Craig Cook       8.42
4    Tate Zischke    6.96
5    Antti Vuolas     6.40
6    Ben Trigger      3.00
7    Sonny Springer 2.00

                               39.97

I'm not sure the Championship will continue with the 2 pointers simply because not enough NDL riders who would qualify appear to have the ability at present.

The 2025 team has to excite at least on paper. In my opinion this team just doesn't cut it.

1-troy 2- tates mate he's rumoured to be bringing over. 3-tate 4- Bailey but that's highly unlikely but you can dream.if not slater lightcup. 5- cookie 6- foord 7- starke. Strong in every heat at home.

The 2 reserves mentioned will be at either end of the country,  starke at Poole and foord at tiggers, what about frazer bowes at 4. Apparently been asking for a northern based mechanic,  I would put tate at 2 to partner batch/Cook in 3 heats and in ht 8 possibility of 3 times 5-1 s

2 Lightcap 5.00

3 Jenkins 6.21

4 Gilkes 5.08

5 Zischke 6.96

6 Trigger 3.00

7 Bailey 4.97

Total 39.64

From what i heard on Friday night this team isnt going to be far away! Cant say who i have added but i have 5 certs and on good authority the rest are 'Done Deals'.

I actually like the look of that team, but would want a stronger reserve than bailey

Also everyone wanting batch back, yes he did have a decent season but he also went missing in most heat 13 & 15s when be was up against the big boys

I'm a fan of Jordan Jenkins and think he would be a really good signing. Would love to see him and Dan Thompson in the team.

Slater Lightcap at 2 is a  big ask, too big in my opinion. If he was coming in at reserve then that is an easier proposition .

The jury is out with me on Dan Gilkes, he has shown flashes and performed pretty well guesting for Oxford in the playoffs. Would suggest if he isn't back with the Bears then Oxford are a more likely destination than the Comets. Appeared inconsistent for the Bears last season.

Personally can't see Connor Bailey making a comeback next season.

Ben Trigger has a bit of potential, quite like him but there are sizeable question marks over whether he has the potential to put a point or two on his average next season.

I think the Comets will want two strong reserves after suffering in this delartment for most of last season. May also look to build further on their asset base where  after the success of Tate and Antti last season.
