Credit the Berwick promotion, could've easily settled for a middling team with whose left but went out and got what should be a very good replacement. I'll say nothing of dayle wood I am shocked Dayle Wood still gets employment!

Also scored 3+1 beating both Mulford and Trigger when guesting for Edinburgh at Redcar. Tike will tell if he can do it consistently at Championship level but I’d say he’s on a par with most of the two pointers signed so far. Would go along with that. Discount him at your peril as he had and still is improving with more track time in 2024. 2025 could well see someone get the benefit. TheWellBehavedWorrall
I wouldn’t be disappointed with that side, if I was a Berwick fan. Cook’s a great signing. He seemed to have screwed the nut last season, so with a settled season under his belt and a healthy pre-season, we see any any Craig Cook next season; including the best version. I think Hagon could be a very good signing. He scored well guesting at Shielfield against us in June. I also think Borke has a lot of potential. Diamonds85
Some people fail to understand that riders can actually go away and improve. They see Dayle ride once in his first season over here, see him struggling and immediately write him off forever as if he's never going to come to anything. I hope he flies next season just to prove all of these people wrong.

He started speedway in Oz in 2022. Admittedly a late beginner, but that's when it was. In 2023 he came to the UK, a very raw rookie, raced NJL for Edinburgh and averaged 4.50. In 2024 he continued at Armadale, improving his average to 7.76. That's a big jump! With bonus points, this is a better CMA than Ace Pijper, Max Perry, Luke Harrison, Freddy Hodder or the much-vaunted Vinnie Foord. All of whom have been racing speedway bikes for a lot longer than Dayle Wood. Were he younger, people would be praising his progress, signalling him as one of the best 2-pointers available to Championship clubs. And maybe, with Berwick, he will be......... Noelinho
I didn't realise Dayle Wood was such a late starter, so fair play in that case - probably is worth a punt.
