Cookie was a class act last season for Workington , he should do a good job for Berwick.

Gutted he's not back at Armadale.

wonder what no 1 we will come up if they have disregarded Cookie.

will pop down to Berwick when I can.

With so few teams and riders these days there's no point holding grudges as they'll probably end up riding for your club at some time! I wasn't happy at bomber coming back to Glasgow, Poole fans were unhappy about schlein and Lawson (and probs kerr when it's announced) but they've all turned out well.

Spot-on Jaizer…….Riders move around so much now compared to the old days. The rider you loved to hate one year can be your hero the next.

Cookie will do a great job when he’s actually on track.

Probably will have a higher home average at Berwick as he’s the best gater in the league, alongside Lawson.

Was very tentative at times nursing the current shoulder injury he’s got, hopefully it can recover probably.
At 80% he’s a 8.5 average rider, but an 9.5+ next season if fully fit with a bigger home track advantage.

Superb signing in theory but I do worry about all the baggage the fella carries particularly over the past 3 or 4 seasons. If his heads right however I don't think he’ll be beaten many times at Shielfield next season.

Same here, good signing considering the options available in GB.Good Shielfield record.Suprised the nasty comments from some “so called “Bandits supporters.

The only way for Cook to silence any doubts fans may have about him is to bang big points in especially at home and I can see him doing that all day, if he feels a bit aggrieved at thinking he’d be back at Workington he might have a point to prove. Cracking signing none the less for me.

As the above posts: Swap Pearson for Gilkes. That's definitely under.

I believe he has signed for Opole Diamonds85 and cited this as a reason for him not being back at Glasgow in 25.

That's fair enough, I wasn't aware of such. I've been so far out of touch with speedway for the past 16 months, just lost interest altogether... Just trying to find my feet with it again 😆 Not sure how long it will last...
