One of the PL's best his stats from 2012 onwards are almost impeccable. Sadly for me he isn't the 'force' he was but as Emilali correctly says if he gets out the traps, he will score well and ultimately hold up the top end.

Isn’t  the “force” but still could be a No1 in this weaken league.Track record holder for awhile round Shielfield. He does criticise the track at times though but I think it’s just his attitude at times .Admit  it’s a gamble.

Still a class act at this level.

We will happily swap, we will keep cookie an you can go into the season  with batchelor as your number 1?

Thought not

If the Cook rumour is true?

Would be a strong top end & always have a decent reserve.

I know Hodder is rumoured to be at Glasgow, but I'd like to think he'd be loyal to Berwick if they wanted him back?

Craig Cook 8.42
Rory Schlein 8.08
Drew Kemp 6.46
Jye Etheridge 4.98
Danyon Hume 4.87
Bastien Borke 4.84
Freddie Hodder 2.00
Total 39.65

Better with perhaps new overseas 5 pointer but think Hodder in red and white further north ?

Surprised that these “rumours” are about.Thought he would be nailed on at Worky

He has burned a lot of Bridges recently.

Glasgow and more recently Edinburgh to name but two.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he has upset Workington as well.

I know he let them down at the end of the season at Worky too.He is a complex character but if his head is right he is still a genuine No1.Thats the gamble anybody signing him.

Possibly 4/7 there if Cook rumour is true

Not a Cook fan , but given the lack of Heat Leader options (unless a good newcomer) probably worth a punt.Still a very good rider when temperament is right. We will have Jye to back him up no doubt.

Let's hope no jye as only 1 track pony! And has let the team down away from home time and time again season after season! Enough is enough

40 point limit for the next 3 years

Until next years piss up in tenerife where they decide to change it to 38.5 to benefit some club or another. Wouldn't believe any multi year plans that these clowns come up with 🤡

I did wonder if Berwick/ Edinburgh / Workington would find it easier to sign 2.00 reserves, they've shown with Hodder / James / McGurk how patient they are with riders.

Whereas a reserve going to Poole or Glasgow could suspect they could get dropped more easily (like Perry & Pijper).
