Some Sheffield fans donāt change, shouting abuse at Emil, yes it was a minority but why anyone would think about doing that while lying on the track. Get well soon Emil!! Ipswich deserved to win but King was poor which cost them. doesn't surprise me !!

But his reaction earlier in the meeting was childish and then to try and have a word with Emil after the crash is awful behaviourĀ Praying that our season isnāt overĀ I canāt believe some people trying to blame holder for the crash. I donāt like him one bit, even less hearing he tried to have a go at Emil but he defo wasnāt to blame. They have been the same for years and always used to abuse riders when I came with my team Newcastle. IĀ was a neutral really today, although maybe just wanted slightly an Ipswich win but mainly cracking racing which we got. Shouting expletives and that Emil was suicidal when trying to win the match for his team was a disgrace.

CTD26
Hope Emil is okay. What a horrible nasty accident.Ā Ā Lack of track gradingĀ definitely the cause of this. The track curator down there needs to sort themselves out.Ā Ā As for Holder, personally Iāve never been a fan. Always been an arrogant little swine even back in the days of the premier league. Not at fault for that was just an unfortunate incident.Ā Ā If what someone has posted was true, and he went to give Emil a few choice words, then shame on him. That is seriously bang out of order. Bit too big for there boots now a days. Maybe if there track curator actually prepared a safe race track, then it wouldnāt be a death trap.Ā Ā Hopefully Emil will be okay, but the next person to have an off like that may not be. Come on Phillip time for you to step in and sort it out. Nobody, apart from Sheffield fans it seems, wants to see anything like that. And Thank you finally for pointing out that some not all Sheffield fans can be unpleasant. I do feel sometimes that generalise to much. We have some fans I am not going to deny it, and never have doneĀ who cannot behave themselves , but generally most are fine, trouble is that people always remember the bad ones rather than the better ones. As for Emil once again lets hope the injuries have not finished his season, he has been and hopefully in the future an excellent addition to our league.Ā

Unfair on the track guy ,as the Tigers are mere tenants at the stadium (and the least important ones) he only has a few hours on a Thursday afternoon (from 1.30 from memory ) to "prepare " it ! Hope Emil isnt seriously injured.Ā Now we have the debate would that have been so serious if they had the old style wire mesh fence that collected the riders rather than bounce them back onto the track ?? It's a dangerous track was narrow before the air fence even worse now.

So whatās the excuse for during the meeting? When the dirt has built up and the berm is ridiculously high and heavy. Not hard to go around with a blade to angle it back to the centre of the track and then have a grader or wonder wheel to spread it back out.
1stbender
Really hope Emil is ok,Ā best rider in the league for the last two years. Every time Iāve saw him at a stadium thereās always been something either bursting out the block and destroying his opponentsĀ or an overtake that few little would have been able to achieve let alone try it. Best wishes and hopefully we wake up tomorrow with a really positive update and fingers crossed minimal injuries.Ā In regards to track safety you would start a whole new topic on that but certainly something that needs to be looked at during the winter months. ShanoXtra
Jack has always been like that. He didnāt have anything to do with the accident though.Ā Emil was determined to beat him and crashed. Although Jack looks bitter whenever someone beats himā¦ even his own team! Iām sure bomber beat him and Jack barely acknowledged him when going back to the pits! I was happy when Vaculik got third in the Grand Prix last year!Ā
Manifesto
How have people turned this into a we hate Jack Holder instead of best wishes to Emil type of thread.. Typical Ipswich fans slagging the track off and riders, Foxhall is an absolute joke of a track as weāve seen many times over the years the absolute cheek to slag Owlerton off is incredible. Jack and Emil threw bikes into that last bend after a fantastic race knowing the result was on the line and unfortunately Emil lost control of the bike, this is speedway and I have seen many crashes at different tracks in different countries. I wish him well and hope he is back on a bike asap. Great effort from the Witches team and deserved the win, our riders couldnāt get out the gate especially Picko and Chris. The reserves letās be honest weāre pathetic apart from one race Dan Gilkes actually had a go. Edwards might as well of not bothered doesnāt attack the track whatās so ever, Jenkins had much less track experience round Owlerton and showed them both how to get round. They will cost us big time in the play offs and cup final. We desperately need Pickering to up his form and not sure how we go about replacing TaiĀ 1

Only saw the incident on TV, but it was clear that the outside resembled a "ploughed field", so surely something should have been done about it? Seen the same thing happen quite a few times at Sheffield, which makes an already narrow track become even narrower as the vast majority of riders wouldn't use that outside line.. You would think that the referee could quite clearly see the massive difference in "slick" to "heavy" from their vantage point wouldn't you and seek some corrective measures... I would be amazed if heat one would be allowed to start with the track in that condition so why is any other heat different?Ā Ā Best Wishes to Emil, a true entertainer, and a great ambassador for the sport... Odds On
Good to hear Emil has got out of that relatively unscathed, really horrific accident. When you have a flat out track like Sheffield with a dirt line literally less than a bike length from the fence, there is no room for error or no time to correct the bike, Chris Holder was in the same position earlier on in the meeting. Ā Heat 15 was a classic up until the crash, main thing is Emil and Bomber appear to be okay, which above all else is all that matters. cowboy cookie returns?
Emil is a lucky guy thankfully nothing serious hopefully weāll seem him back before long the guy is already an Ipswich legend. As for the track the dirt line build up on the outside is an issue didnāt Danny have a similar crash there last season although that time he was sucked into the air fence. But last night the track staff made no attempt to blade the dirt back off of the high line ā¦. Chris Holder backed off because he was stuck out there ā¦ Emil didnāt as he was trying to win the meeting ā¦.Ā Ā Some on here have said the track is dangerous but I donāt agree with that but last night they should have done more to make the track safer that was obvious from an early stageĀ Ā
