King has not beaten an opponent in 3 rides. That's not good...
Gavan
Jack Holder …. What a spoilt brat ….. what with him his brother and Tai it’s has to be the most whingiest team in the league ….. Go find your dummy Jack 3
Gavan
This just shows we shouldn’t be worried about Sheffield … no number one and his rides get only 5…… and the Holder brothers can’t ride Foxhall and are usually shown up by Pickering who gives 110% every time at our place Win or lose tonight I’m more worried about Belle Vue then Sheffield
Steve Shovlar
What a terrible way to end a meeting. Hope all riders are OK with result not important.
Gavan
Piled all the dirt up against the fence and stopped Emil dead in his tracks …. Shocking
Hawk127
Let’s hope they are alright. No one wants a meeting to end like that.
Steve Shovlar
Emil conscious. Poor Chris Harris had no chance to avoid. A very nasty crash. Meeting called 46-44 but irrelevant. Was a brilliant race until the last bend.
Hawk127
Texter on updates seem to think it was the way the track was with the dirt piled too high which could be down to grading but I guess they are not expert on these matters. Fingers crossed for the riders.
rocketrod
It just seemed that emil clipped the back straight fence before entering the corner , and like others are saying the dirt is piled up high he hits that and he can’t straighten up in time. Just one of those unfortunate things. Hope he is ok and back racing soon.

Steve Shovlar
I put a short clip of the crash up on Twitter. If it breaks BSN copyright I will remove it straight away.
ShanoXtra
Thoughts with our man Emil. Be it the track or that he clipped the fence before the corner, one thing is for certain, he is a true rider and wasn’t backing out of fighting for the win for Ipswich. So so so so gutted for ipswich, the season and how it will now end… but more importantly Emil. If we don’t win anything this season so be it… I’m still super proud of having two of the most dedicated and loyal riders. Emil and Doyle. (Ps also was a great meeting until then).
Arthur54
Why is Jack Holder such a spoilt brat, didn't even acknowledge Emil when Emil beat him, could learn a lot from his brother

You have to question whether some of the tracks are suitable for today’s bikes or should the sport in the UK take a look at what is safe and suitable in terms of machinery for the available tracks. It is clearly not one size fits all and bikes that ride well on the big tracks in Poland are probably not suitable for the technical UK tracks which then begs the question, is it time that the machinery was standardised so that it is rider skill and not power of a bike that makes a good rider.
Hawk127
Just watched the replay thanks to Steve and bloody hell. Prayers for both riders. One of those events you really do not what to see. Fingers crossed for both and I know riders are hardy guys but that is off the scale.
old bob at herne bay
OMG .... nasty looking one.... Owlerton is so narrow on the bends. Hope Emil isnt seriously injured. Now we have the debate would that have been so serious if they had the old style wire mesh fence that collected the riders rather than bounce them back onto the track ??
