Kings Lynn vs Leicester - Monday 5th August

I don't like the way King's Lynn is run but the guest choices for most away matches have cost in mind.

There's no point bringing in a guest to score 15 & still lose. It's better for the away sides to have a guest score as close to zero as possible.

Getting results at Ipswich & Sheffield especially is nigh on impossible for most.

Clubs just waste money booking top guests away from home. It's not up to the away side to put on a show for the home promotion.

If you don’t want to compete with the big boys then you need to go into the championship which maybe suits your budget better.

Of course you don’t have to have a ex Ipswich rider. But it may give you an advantage. Simon lambert will give you a 100% at all times but he struggled to get round Ipswich.
maybe they weren’t asked, do you know ?

I know as much as you who was or wasn't  asked. They all could have been asked,or none may have been asked,so we can't say for sure who we could or couldn't have had on the night.

Whats the rules on RR tonight , can everyone ride ?

The PSH Environmental Stars will operate rider replacement in the No.2 position which means all riders with the exception of Adam Ellis are entitled to a ride.

Cook out with personal reasons.

His wife was giving birth last week, I've not heard any update on whether everything was OK, but even so it's a hectic stressful time having a baby.

I’m going for a Lynn win doubted them against Sheffield and got it wrong. The home form has been good and can see them ticking the points on nicely throughout the meeting. Plus away leicester have struggled.

Lawson, Becker and Douglas all rode well at Lynn last week !

I think its more like Chapman and Allitt trying to cheat the way in to the play offs picking and choosing when they can be bothered to run meetings, it will be an absolute travesty if KL get in the play offs.

I personally hope that fingers crossed for you supporters Chapman does sell to guarantee speedway for 2025 for KL. With a proper owner I do not think you would have had all the issues this season, I suppose we all remember the likes of the Littlechild's and Crane to know it can be good.

Absolutely on the nail. Supporters at least want a competitive side, watching your team getting stuffed each week does nothing for anybody.

It would be an absolute shock if they did. Deducted 2 points, riding without a #1, injured #2 & #3, mostly awful guests …

Even if the postponements have been strategic, the bad luck hasn’t rewarded them - even Ipswich fans have sympathy for their plight …

You have a level, so aim to be the best at that level, until you organically can handle going to the next stage...

Birmingham for example are not a top flight club fanbase wise, so let them ride on Mondays in the 2nd Division..

Poole are the opposite. Clearly a top level team infrastructure wise, so let them be in the top league riding Wednesdays if they so wish...

It might need guests for both the above to happen but (breaking news), most matches use guests each week, so it won't really matter...

Clubs over stretching themselves can never be a good thing, and, no disrespect, whoever wins any competition this year will hardly be lauded by thousands locally will they? With almost no impact to the following seasons crowds....

Well a Lynn rider told a good mate of mine, when asked if he would come back next season, he said that if no one takes over in 2025 there will be no speedway at Lynn. That was about 4 weeks ago. Hopefully someone will come forward, and Buster will do them a good deal, so that the Stars will carry on. The crowds have been pretty good. I know we will get the usual later, but its on BSN.

errr, 45 - 45 at Sheffield last Thursday?
Hopefully, a good entertaining tight match. Stars to get over the line thanks to better performing reserves.
