Let's see if Basso & NKI ride in tomorrow's Danish Final that will be the defining point :t:

The defining point will be when The Weasel spins his roulette wheel to decide if any punishment is to be meted out.

Let’s hope they take all of their rides and don’t abort. If they do and then miss a Stars meeting the forum will go mad.

NK in original post will be Klindt not Iversen. So Thursdays team would be Iversen, Wojdylo, Rowe plus guests, one of which appears to be Wright

Where is the two minute countdown clock at kings lynn ? It wasn’t there when Ipswich visited and I didn’t see it last night on BSN

I thought it was compulsory in the premiership and the championship this year.

I haven't seen it at the start for a few weeks - in fact I think it has been missing since the meeting it packed up and they made a point of announcing that they were doing it the old fashioned way by the ref in the box.

I find it hard to believe you keep banging on about this when you defended Kurtz for weeks and weeks.

Anyway, either way the Belle Vue meeting seems a bit of a mess from a Kings Lynn point of view. A team of guests which frankly doesnt help the club or the league out in the grand scheme of things, i cant imagine the crowd will be very big when/if the team is announced. That said i dont think another meeting should be called off, i think i read there are no more spare dates before the play off cut offs? Which again makes a complete mockery out of the league/sport, and seems to happen every year.

Best bet is to just give Belle Vue the points and concede the meeting, would probably save some money also. Not sure where that leaves season ticket holders or whether they could be refunded a portion of there payment.

The clock doesn’t work according to a conversation I heard taking place between the referee and the Leicester team manager!

At least they managed to fix the pit gate in time for last night’s meeting!

The situation with Kings Lynn not able to field a team seems to occur every year. Seem to have dreadfully bad luck (??) with their riding staff for the past two seasons.

I am surprised (well only a little) that a rule hasn't been introduced whereby if a team are unable to field a team and call off the meeting they should automatically forfeit the league points in that fixture. If the meeting is subsequently run then no league points will be at stake, but riders would still be paid and the spectators would still see the meeting.  The p. offs could then still be run as scheduled.  If it's a cup match then they automatically give the opposing team a bye into the next round, but should have to restage the meeting, without progression to the next round at stake.

Why would anyone go to a glorified challenge match? Just don’t run it at all

Perhaps it’s been flood damaged during all the rain offs Lynn have had……or has anyone check the spares cupboard it could be with the spare pit gate parts.

They can’t even claim a stopped clock being right twice a day at Kings Lynn!
