Workington Comets V Redcar Bears 03/08/24 3pm

Recommended Posts

The Comets side this week go looking for League points after last weeks home defeat from the Poole Pirates but its another tough meeting against the Redcar Bears.

Its a much changed Workington side with Ace Pijper in for Claus Vissing (personal reasons ) and Leon Flint  is the guest for the injured Tate Zischke , also making his home debut is new signing Paul Starke.

Meanwhile Redcar have James Pearson in as a guest who can on his day go very well around the Northside Arena.

Weather looks good and missing Tate and Connor definitely makes things closer, on paper at least.

Sure Leon will be fine and Ace can't really do any worse than Claus has been recently...

Why Dayle Wood? Even with "no facility" Kye Thomson fits!

Unconfirmed but probably no facility, would be R/R if there was.

Dayle Wood is here and walked the track with the team

Afraid not, only 6 riders in the pits. So would hope it’s R/R to stand some form of chance

If they are missing for the same reason why does Craig get a facility but Vissing doesn't?

They aren’t missing for the same reason

Confirmed it’s R/R at Number 1 and Dayle Wood at Number 8!

Presumably will have a guest for tomorrow

Think one is for a wedding other for a birth, either way its not good!

Would going to a wedding not be classed as withholding your service or whatever its called, unless it was your own wedding.Fair enough for birth of your child which can't be planned for timing wise but not a wedding.
