Glasgow v Edinburgh 2/8/24

Recommended Posts

Local Derby week this time in the League

Looks like we are lining up like this.

1.Chris Harris

2.Jack Smith

3.Leon Flint

4. Matic Ivacic

5. Scott Nicholls

6. James Pearson

7. Vinnie Foord

Im sure the ever optimistic Blobby will be along shortly and let us know the Edinburgh line up and how they will get pumped and how it’s not fair.

Looking forward to seeing Josh Pickering around Ashfield again , the best visiting rider by a distance I have watched at Glasgow this season.

Fancy a home win 52-38.

Bit of weather about tomorrow (typical after best week of the year!). Fingers crossed misses ashfield, plenty exciting riders on show.

Guest or sedgy?

Drew kemp best of what was available to us which wasn’t a lot.

With Glasgow benefiting massively with the guest situation on both sides I will be continuing the rain dance for this one.

Yes, good idea as Vinnie's average goes up to 4 from 7th August, so they won't be able to use him in a restaging.

Think Glasgow should sign Max Perry as there is a potentially play off SF between Poole and Glasgow. Assuming Max is on a 2 still.

Forecast has changed slightly to showers early to mid afternoon and showing overcast but dry late afternoon with a high of 20 degrees.

Some natural watering and a home win, a rain dance looks futile for your annual pumping.

Coming up for this with high hopes. One of the few bastions in British Speedway that seems to produce regular good racing.

How have Glasgow managed to get Nicholls he is flying.

Enjoy your trip don’t think you will be disappointed , with Bomber, Nicholls and Pickering on show around Glasgow it could be tasty.

Saved a pumping

You’re right for once it’s gone in our favour, Hoepfully have sedgy back for the rerun of this plus Foord getting an average will rule him out as a guest as well thankfully.

And was Scott Nicholls only prepared to guest for us as he's at Berwick tomorrow with Oxford? Hopefully Steve Worrall will be back for the restaging.

You couldn’t make it up.

You couldn't! If you had an employee who year after year made the same mistakes and never learned from them, eventually you would sack them. You get what I'm saying, when is the point where enough is enough?
