Ipswich v Kings Lynn August 1st

Recommended Posts

Lemon generally doesn’t let his riders guest for teams who are around Belle Vue in the league positions, so more chance of Blodorn, Cook guesting at number 1 for Kings Lynn than there is of any Belle Vue rider guesting in place of Doyle at Ipswich or Woffinden at Sheffield with only one team not racing.

Lewis Kerr,oh dear here we go again.Same old.

Ben Cook, and Blodorn are probably the best pair, if willing. 55-35 ish. The sooner we replace Toby, if possible the better..

That's his prerogative, but if that's the case, his rivals could do the same & not guest for the Aces.

Totally agree, however probably doesn't matter who guests for us we'll still get beat at Ipswich. Hopefully we can then either make team changes or get more suitable guests for the meetings we've got a chance of picking up points in.

Ironically, Ben Cook can't guest at #1 for KL because the Stars are limited to 75% of Musielak's 8.21 green sheet, but he could replace Klindt ...

Lewi has gone well in the past at Ipswich, hopefully he'll take his best gating gloves .....

I know he has, unfortunately though he seems on a downward spiral at the moment. He has done thousands of laps around the NA but last week he looked awful.Maybe injuries are catching up with him now.I really hope he proves me wrong though:t:

S.Lambert and Kerr tomorrow,RR for Basso. What a crock of sh!t£.Good luck to any Lynn fans making the trip,if any.You will be certainly more dedicated than me.Back in the 80's and 90's I would have gone, only because I was young and foolish then.I wouldn't be wasting my money on this, that is for sure this time.

When i read your post, i thought about changing my earlier prediction from 55-35 to 60-30.. But keeping with the positivity of Mondays win, i'll stick with 55-35. Come on you Stars

And to think people moaned about not having Emil and Keynan in heat 15 last week.

We have to stick to the rules and riders available. This is what many complained about when Lynn postponed a meeting earlier in the season, saying there were enough to choose from, from the championship. So this is what you get.

Reading all the negativity on here around this match admittedly around the Lynn team does make me wonder.

kings Lynn have had poor sides for the last few seasons coupled with the various off track issues & rather bizarre postponements. It’s like Buster doesn’t give a toss & I fully expect he will throw his toys out of the pram in October & pull Lynn out of league speedway & put it up for sale. The ironic thing is he is reaping the fruits of his time as chairman of the BSPA.

Ive got my enthusiasm back for speedway over the last couple of seasons at Ipswich it’s been a joy to watch. It’s a shame that the sport as a whole isn’t run as professionally & as slick as Ipswich we might be in a better place.

I fully intend to enjoy the rest of this season with Emil & Co & as much as I hope I’m wrong I can’t see the leagues being in a strong enough place next year for Emil to return.

I really do fear for the future of this once great sport…….as for Thursday 60-30

They had more points to play with back then.

Even so, it shows how tough it is to find riders who actually want to ride ...

I must admit I got into speedway two years ago. Due to getting together with my polish girlfriend and she knew more about Ipswich witches than I did! So I told my dad get his coat and we will go. And now we have been to home and away meetings of pretty much all available to us. I must admit it’s been a steep learning curve and I visit Stal Gorzów every month which is the home of my girlfriend. Polish speedway and atmosphere is something I’m envy of! I hope British speedway builds, we have the best riders in a while it appears in recent years. Ironically the first year I went we won the trophy since 98!

As for Emil, he seems pretty loyal. I think he would stay due to not riding in speedway GP again in 2025. And something tells me he wants another full season with Doyley!
