4BenMoran
SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Tai Woffinden R/R, Josh Pickering, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Jason Edwards, Dan Gilkes. OXFORD: Rohan Tungate, Erik Riss, Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Chris Harris, Ashton Boughen, Luke Killeen. R/R at number 2 should work out better for Sheffield than having it at Tai’s usual number 5 position, as should ensure a strong partnership with Jack in 3 races and allow Sheffield to use Jack in Ht8. This one should be a lot tighter than the last 4 meetings where Sheffield have got around the mid 50’s in each of them, as a few of the Oxford team have had more than one good meeting at Owlerton (Harris, Wright, Riss to name a few). This though should be the first match of the year where Sheffield have a stronger 6 and 7 than their opposition so if Jason and Dan continue recent form that could be a bonus for Sheffield. Always good to watch Bomber around Owlerton no matter who he’s up against and the battles between Charles Wright and Kyle are always fierce (you wouldn’t think they were good mates!), Magic should improve on his last visit to Owlerton and Tungate fast if he gets in front with him weighing less than an average persons leg! Sheffield need an improvement from both Kyle who’s had two under par performances in the last week and Josh who only seems to get going from Ht14 onwards. Personally think change to rising at number 2 for Josh when back to a full 1-7 will help him. Think Sheffield will get the home win and nick the bonus point on offer too, with a 50-40 win. Hilly
If Oxford can reach 40 anywhere away from home for the rest of the season, they will have done well.
Manifesto
really need Kyle and Picko to score some to ensure a comfy enough win, Kyle in particular last week was very sloppy on track. Really hope Dan and Jason can keep up the good form they both are heading in the right direction. Tungate, Harris and Janowski could all score big and Wright and Riss enjoy riding Owlerton. Let’s hope for some good racing. Prediction 49-41 home win just sneaking the bonus point in

Personally I think it's a daft decision to put r/r at 2. Why would you want to use a GP winner in an extra heat against a "rising star"? Seems a waste of Holder's talents, surely you're better off giving Jack & Chris extra rides against Tungate & Janowski? That being said, expecting Sheffield to hit 55 points, but I'll argue it could've been 57 lol!

I do one prediction with that stats (50-40), then another less scientific & more based on opinions (53-37). First one was before I had a good look at the teams & averages! szkocjasid
Didn't think I'd be saying this, but if Oxford can win, that's them right in the play-offs hunt. Even more amazing they're winning without Tungate scoring (who I thought would be top scorer).

Hilly
A team nearly 8 points under the limit again goes to a last heat decider for the bonus, fair effort.

Great effort from an under strength team. Shame the management doesn't make the same effort the riders do.

I think it is fair to say the management go to a lot of effort - and they get a lot of things right. Just that 'team strengthening' is not one of them

Manifesto
Really good effort from Oxford. Janowski looked so much better than he did last time he visited. Harris was very fast and that bends 3 and 4 in heat 13 was world class to squeeze past Jack Holder next to air fence. Tungate struggling with his bike all night cost them the bonus point. Howarth all over place once again another poor showing, you’d think he’d never seen track before way he shapes up going into bends. Heat leaders saw us through second half of the meeting. We need Tai back for the play offs but I fear his season is finished

Steve Irving
Big disappointment from Tungate here. A solid display from him could have actually seen Oxford win this one.
