Its certainly an odd where, for example last Saturday you had two Plymouth riders guesting for Berwick in their match with Edinburgh where they helped the home side win, a win that sent their own team to the bottom of the league.

When we were discussing it we came to the conclusion that Plymouth would be happier with the results (one team getting 3 points and one team getting 2).

Plymouth have 5 matches in hand and neither team managed to pull to far clear of them.

Do you get a prize for not finishing bottom then.

Have to say every Club does some bias reporting regarding their Team ,but G Muncie on Monarchs Website certainly takes some beating. One classic being Ht 10,Monarchs make the gate and Kerr left stranded.Lasse jumped the start by a mile and actually impeded Kerr ,even doubt if any Monarch fan actually in the Stadium would have seen it any different.

Was probably the easiest dodgy start during the meeting.

Reading the Berwick report Thomson was away into the distance with Hume and Thomson having a monumental battle for second.

Was it not announced there was less than 0.3 seconds between 1st and 3rd? Do wonder sometimes about meeting reports.

I don't think he can, which is a very stupid rule imo. Surely a club using an unattached rider is better than using one from a rival team?

Signed for Workington.

As I understand the rules, when Starke didn't have a club if Glasgow needed a replacement for Smith or Pearson, Starke could say to the BSPL "can I guest for my old club, show them there's no hard feelings" to which they'd reply "nope, can't allow that".

But now he's signed for Workington if the same situation occurred he could say "can I guest for my old team & try to knock my new team out of the play-offs" to which they'd reply "yes, of course".
