szkocjasid
Feel for Hodder, wins heat 2, but then doesn't meet a reserve again. Well done Drew, hope Peter Schroeck was watching lol!
Macca
Enjoyable meeting. Thought Berwick deserved their win. Leon an inspired guest - only reason we were still within touching distance near the end. In two different heats both Josh and Paco signalling to the referee something Barker was doing just before the race - anyone know what that was about? Shadders
Did the Monarchs miss a trick not putting Flint in as a tac sub in heat 11? Edited July 27 by Shadders

Nope think the Monarchs got their tactics spot on. Replacing Thomsen in heat 11 means a reserve having to take another ride (in 14). Had Flint won heat 11 = 2 points gained. Had Coles been in 14, likely would've been behind Joe T = 4 points lost.
Fromafar
Good win for Bandits, thought the track rode a lot better tonight.Drew had another fine home meeting which probably saved the day for the Team.

Mr Blobby
Thought we were very average tonight. Didn’t take advantage of a poor Berwick side. Coles the biggest let down tonight really poor. Kemp the saviour for the bandits. What’s the rules with regarding falling off then restating the bike to get going again once the race has been completed, never seen anyone do that before like Thompson did they normally push it round. Yeah both paco and Josh were unhappy with Barker heating up his rear tyre at the start, should’ve been excluded for it. You have 2 mins to push home from when the race finishes as long as you don’t have any outside help which is what he done Thomson just pulled his bike out from under the fence started it again rode it home for the point seen it loads of times ,riders leaning there bikes over to warm tyres must be pretty common as every rider does it at the start but monarchs riders were saying they could see smoke coming from the back tyre but being barkers lawn mowers like people were saying lol maybe it was engine oil burning out exhaust or the primary chain getting too much oil and burning off like you see after most races

Also got to question his behaviour at heat 10 restart when he 'harassed' Fredriksen at the tapes. As a Track Official he should have been sanctioned by the referee. In my opinion removed from his duties and removed from the centre green for the rest of the meeting at the least. Note he didn't treat Barker in the same way in the restart of heat 15. Mr Barrie runs things at Berwick on a Saturday, or at least he thinks he does.

He done something similar last season when we were down with Ben Basso also at the tapes. Overstepping and remit spring to mind.
Fromafar
Question,? Can Paul Starke guest for anyone when not a 1-7 in any Team.

I don't think he can, which is a very stupid rule imo. Surely a club using an unattached rider is better than using one from a rival team? 3

Its certainly an odd where, for example last Saturday you had two Plymouth riders guesting for Berwick in their match with Edinburgh where they helped the home side win, a win that sent their own team to the bottom of the league.
