Well after fifty five years following my two teams Leicester & Long Eaton, I thoroughly enjoyed last night's meeting. To all those who continually slag off the track, racing & everything else to do with Leicester speedway, may I suggest that you find something else to do on a Thursday night, before you have no speedway team to support. And to all those idiots who said there was no overtaking last night, what planet were you watching from, because I saw plenty off overtaking.

And this is the problem, I keep reading about all this great racing and then you say there was plenty of overtaking. It was terrible racing, boring, 2 decent races all night that lasted more than half a lap. the guy next to me was writing in his programme after 2 laps.
It was good result for Leicester but if you think that was good racing then you have serious problems.
As we were walking out down the path there was a family behind us sounds like they come for first time and they were saying it was ok but not sure they would come back.

Premier League fans be like, “the racing is good at Belle Vue and my home track.”

Speaking as a Leicester fan, I've been to all PL tracks this season as a Lions fan and also occasionally as a neutral, with the exception of King's Lynn, for obvious reasons!

For the quality of the racing I've seen Belle Vue is a given, surprisingly the next best has been Oxford!

Clearly a different planet, because I was on one where Leicester rode against Belle Vue with no overtaking after bend 3 lap1 until heat 11 when Kurtz passed Douglas. Only other noteworthy pass was ht 13 when Douglas created a gap that let Fricke past Kurtz.

Racing was pisspoor.  End of.

I apologise for having an opinion different to yours. End of.

There were only 2 passes after the second bend of lap 1 though...

Well perhaps i'm just easily pleased. Sounds like i'll be the only one turning up for the next meeting, but if anyone else does bother, i'll be the one in the grandstand wearing rose coloured glasses.
