He’s doing a sterling job. Absolute club legend. George, Dick and Mythman always tell the less educated Berwick fans of how well he’s doing and they’ll support him through thick and thin. Admirable really.

If you're one of the better "educated" fans that you claim to be, then surely you'd know that there is absolutely NOTHING to be gained by anyone publicly slagging the club or it's riders, especially via the clubs official channels, be that on the website or in the programme.

Change the record, your patter is boring

Redcar beginning of the season did well got a win. Been at Glasgow watching , should have come away with a win if not fir a sublime Harris. Had another mare of a season with injuries and some of the guests score massively for their club but not even half when guesting. Lawson a stand out when guesting. Superb. End of the day it gets dark. Could be worse and have no speedway at all like some fans have now. Season is done so let the team go out on the track and enjoy it. It might just get them a few moral boosting wins.

It was an entertaining meeting with some excellent racing. On the whole Berwick riders made good starts but rode very wide in turn 2 allowing the Oxford riders a chance to work up to turn 3. There were some slick passes with Heeps & Jenkins proving their worth. Berwick pushed hard but in the main couldn't take enough heat advantages.

I was pleased to see a meeting start prompt at 7:30 & even with the very real threat of rain an interval was taken & fully completed at 9:00 PM. There was a good supply of dust but given the forecast I can accept that. The tractors stayed off the track which shows they are not always needed when the race track is good.
